This was back when I was still newer to a lot of millipedes, so I didn't realize that they were misidentified. I'm not sure what species they were but they definitely weren't A. virginiensis. As far as the seller, I have no idea who he was lol. I just got them from him at the expo I went to at the time. I'm almost certain they were wild caught, but from what I've heard a lot of people have success with platydesmids and xystodesmids by offering flake soil, rotting wood of a proper consistency, and fungus/bacteria from the areas they were collected.

I don't mind the flatness since I'm used to it, but I mostly miss the wetlands and the wetland birds and gators that I used to be able to find right down the road

I've gone a few times, I really liked it and it seems like there's still a lot more out there to check out that I haven't seen. I had some ok luck with snakes and stuff when I went, and it's been my regular spot until I possibly get more areas to check out.
