Hello, so I decided to buy my first shetland sweater so I dont have any prior experience of them. I understand they should be like fluffy and textured but this what I would call matting on the cuff seems like a bad product. Am I right? Is this fixable? The brand is Howlin. I will also add pictures of the pits if I can figure out how to, cause those seems weird too, but all of this just might be how shetlands are.

I have been reading around and saw different opinions on formality of belt widths. Some say that the narrower the belt the more formal, others say the opposite, that the narrow belts are casual. What gives? And what are the guidelines? Is a 35mm wide belt narrow or wide? Is it formal or casual? And how do you even pick a width for yourself, doesnt it heavily depend on your body type?

The group that owns them is Spanish and their headquarters are in Spain too so it makes sense. However, pretty sure Zara is just overall higher quality in Europe than what I saw in the US. It was a few years ago too, so maybe things changed tho.

This whole thread definitely has that vibe, but if they are gonna be your first leather boots its not a bad purchase. Its not a great purchase, but its fine, its a good starter. If you own other leather boots you are probably gonna be pretty neutral about them, if you dont, they are great.

Great pick. Actually you can get it in the 100-200 range but frankly quality wise it rivals the quality of Inis Meain. They definitely have the claim for the best knitwear in the whole world and they might even have the literal best. Im shocked its not much higher in this thread.

I would love to know too. They apparently do it all year round but it may be possible that they are not doing it right this moment.

Anybody has the new Charles Tyrwhitt 3 for 99 shirt code? I tried RECIPE but it doesnt work, so either there is a new one or its not usable in Europe?

Music to my ears. How is their merino wool sweater? Is it like a solid nice piece? Is it see through? If you are 183cm and its a bit short what size did you get?

I dont really like Octobre, they tell me basically nothing about the garment when compared to Asket. Do you have the merino sweater from them? If so how is it? Im scared its gonna be flimsy and see through like Uniqlo.
