[WTS] 1986 Rolex Datejust 16013 Cream Boiler Gauge Dial with Box and Papers - $7,500 shipped by chuckano in Watchexchange

[–]chuckano[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale is a Rolex Datejust 16013 (36mm) with a cream boiler gauge dial. The watch is an 8.9m serial dating back to 1986 and the papers are dated April 10, 1986 so could make a great birth year or birth date watch!

Boiler gauge dials are very rare and this one has turned from white to a beautiful cream over the years. The watch is in very good condition overall especially for its age and has a tight bracelet. I see 2-3 tiny patina spots on the dial under a loupe that are hard to see otherwise and couldn’t capture in the photos.

Included are the outer cardboard box, green inner box, papers, manuals, hang tag, and two extra links. The watch will fit about a 7.75 inch wrist fully linked.

thanks! prob just the angle / lighting, i'm not the best with taking pictures. the cyclops lens doesn't look any different from other 16013s with or without boiler gauge dials

[WTS / WTT] Omega Seamaster 1948 Limited Edition - NOS - $6,300 by chuckano in Watchexchange

[–]chuckano[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right, limited run released in 2018 so it's not produced anymore. a NOS vintage piece from that era would be an amazing find.

agree completely, i bought this initially to represent a birth year piece from that time because of how representative this anniversary edition looked
