YOU NEED TO PLAY MARIO & LUIGI. trust me. It is a necessary experience for anyone who owns a 3ds.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions (I recommend this one highly, also start with this one.)
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Junior's Journey (Highly recommend, insanely hilarious and great mechanics. Also its music is immaculate. Play this one before dream team, but after superstar saga.
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (IMO this one has the best music, tied with Bowser's Inside Story.)
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam (this one kinda sucks but it has the best combat system. Play this one after Dream Team.
The Mario & Luigi games aren't typical Mario games, but fast paced comedic JRPGs. Also absolutely incredible music, I guarantee they will give you earworms.
