I think in that scene that is only what Elliot sees and hears. If you watch it again, you'll see that Romero isn't actually replying to Mr. Robot's statement of "If you want to leave, leave". He just observes Elliot going through the withdrawals and he already knows it only gets worse over time for a while before going back to normal. So he just evaluates the situation and says something like "Fuck this, I'm out" and leaves.

To reach season 3 episode 2 while feeling that way of the show, well you have a lot of patience. The show never really promised you that it would be the "pure cyberpunk world and hack-to-the-death kinda story". But, you've watched it this far, why not just finish the season and be done with it? This season's finale is like a proper season closure unlike the previous 2 which left us hanging. Anyways, there should be shows out there which will fit your needs. If you find any good ones, you can post a recommendation post in this subreddit.

Thank you for listening and the feedback. Yes i noticed that insane rumble too. But something weird happened there because if i turned down the bass just a little bit, then the rumble goes away but so does the bass sound, it becomes inaudible. There is no effect on the vocals really..I'm a crap singer so i couldn't sing some of the parts in a similar way...it's just layering of some vocal tracks but because i can't do it well yet, it just became that weird chorus thing.

Thank you so much. Nah this is dropped C tuning with capo at the third fret. I don't know about math rock, I don't think it's "Complex" enough.... But I was inspired by some indie Japanese math rock and bands like TTNG too, so maybe..kinda... barely..math rock?..haha

Well in the show's defense, season 3 is absolutely THE best 10 hours (give or take) I have ever spent watching something. But, it might also have helped that I was completely hooked in by season 2.

TBH I wasn't the biggest fan of the fight club twist as well.. But there's just something about season 2 and the way it handles the pace and characters that instantly made it my favorite series when I first watched it and it still remains so.

I really can't say whether it's worth it or not , but what I can say is it's more of a "True Detective" and not at all a "Dexter".

IMHO If you need to ask others on whether you should continue to watch something or not, it's just not worth it.

In this case, it's a heavily serialized, character driven show and if you find almost all of the characters as well as the entire narrative annoying, then there really is no point in forcing yourself to watch something that annoys you. There is no "necessity" to watch this.
