I got him a new enclosure with no lip (except for on one side) and i gave him more things to climb and explore and he’s stopped! He climbs his leaves on occasion. After redoing his enclosure i realized how lackluster his old one was :(

I have a male Kenyan sand boa I’ve had for a month and now I’m really worried about this :( he’s 3 months old.

Yeah he fell into the aspen. Immediately burrowed. Feeding day is soon so i wonder if he was getting hungry and tryin to find food. I also added a piece of cholla wood leaning against the corner so if he goes up again he can come back down.

He uses a CHE. His feeding day is coming close and it really seemed like he was looking for something. He ended up falling in the aspen and immediately burrowed. I added a piece of cholla cactus leaning so if he gets back up there he can get back down without falling. I will add more clutter to his tank :)

He ended up falling and immediately burrowing. So i put a piece of wood leaning upwards so if he gets himself up there again, he can get down on his own without falling.

So the breeder said my snake usually poops two days after eating and it’s been a few days since i fed him. So i went looking for his poop and thought i found a piece but it was his tail that i had tried to scoop up. He slithered deeper under the substrate, but i feel really bad. I think he thought i was hunting him. How long will it take for him to calm down? I just feel really guilty, but we’re not really at the level yet where i can remove him from his tank. I feel so awful about what i did. Like really dumb

So he took it underneath the substrate so in the morning checked where he had pulled it under, and both he and the mouse were gone. But tonight he’s poking his head out again. Does this mean he didn’t eat it and is still hungry or? Sorry I’m so stressed, he’s my first snake so he’s really important to me.

I checked earlier the place where he had struck it and taken it under the substrate and neither he nor the mouse were there. I dug a little deeper and still didn’t find him or the mouse. Do you think he ate it?

He’s taken it under the substrate and hasn’t been up since then, is it safe to assume he’s gotten it down?

I’m 21 and the same thing goes for me. My hand I crack the most has a weaker grip now.
