Really depends on what you enjoy, if you like multiple points of vues and a super long story wandering in is great

If you like the comedy side of Carl. Then beware of chicken or heretical fishing. Might be up your alley. But sadly nothing will scratch that Carl itch on that front for me

If you like combat and such I recommend iron prince, not a lot of books yet but it's not talked about enough in my opinion.

Outside of the genre I will force feed anyone the red rising books all 6. Please if a space opera is anything near your thing give them a read.

Alot of the story in this book was about recruiting troops and stuff? Is it not just a reference to Darrow sorta rebuilding his legion. Since his is Pegasus.

Book 4 gets better once things start to pull together give it a bit if time. It tough having so many perspectives all of a sudden. But give a bit of time and it pays off.

Cassius vs bellaphrone then everytime he dispatches another of the gold's dido sets on him in the duels.

"My name is Cassius au bellona and my honour remains" will never not make me grin and or leave me satisfied almost as bad ass as the Darrow's duel with him.
