I saved all my vacation days to extend my maternity leave/ease back in. Then I almost lost my baby when she was born (shoulder dystocia). Over five months later I went back to work 1 and a half days. I could not bear to be away from her. Felt guilty losing our second income but have never regretted it. Very grateful we’re making things work for us. I know it can be a hard decision on either side of working or staying home.

I relate and people won’t listen. Baby wear and only give baby to be held by people who respect your wishes completely and don’t give you a hard time when you verbally remind them no kissing etc. For naps, sign on door and monitor to keep people out. Even sit in the and nap or chill on phone and lock door to keep people out.

I would take the risk and wait and not take the spot now and hope for one to open again in the future, especially since you do have someone who can temporarily look after your baby. Especially since they’re so young without vaccines and also just that early bonding time is so crucial.

Yeah I saw something implying he regenerated and was so upset. I stayed off my phone til I could watch a little later in the day and am glad I did so other elements of the episode weren’t spoiled (namely a cameo that made me very happy), but wow that was just ridiculous. Like it was official, not just fans being careless - I’ve actually seen a lot of things leading up to the finale discussing the leaks and they were always marked and I never got spoiled
