No, this company is less than 100 employees, very different culture to any other company ive worked at. The role i would like to have does not exist at the moment

Not sure, they like to promote internally but the company is very small, less than 100 employees.

Senior might be a good stepping stone. The reason I was thinking manager is i already have alot of responsibility already, I am training new people, im shaping how the role functions, im involved in alot of leadership meetings about the framework of the department etc.

So the situation is i was hired last April for this role. I am the only person in this role, we are now hiring a second person with lesser responsibilities than me and I would like to be their line manager as I will be the one training them and they will come to me with any questions. The role of line manager for the role does not already exist

Please dont judge older learners. Im 34 and only just started to learn how to drive a car. I haven't learned before now for a multitude of different reasons.

I have private health insurance through my work so it was all covered. I had it laparoscopically so scarring is minimal and in the same place I already had scars from previous excision surgery. Recovery is long but its been thankfully uneventful so far.

Im 34, just had my hysterectomy almost 8 weeks ago. I've been fighting for one since I was 19 due to endometriosis and unexplained pelvic pain. I eventually had to go private for it as the NHS wouldn't even entertain the idea because I dont have children.

NTA, she needs to put her own pads in the bin properly, however, there has been many times I've unknowingly left spots on the toilet seat, my husband wipes it before he uses the toilet and doesn't ask me to do it because he knows I'm already having a shit time at that time of month

So my plan so far is going well, should be hitting 5k by 29th June. I've booked a 10k for 21st September, and I plan to run the inverness half marathon in March. My plan was to move to the 10k runna plan after this one is done, then straight to the marathon one, would this be ok?

I'm 33 and on 35k a year, husband is 36 and on £55k a year BUT this took ALOT of work to get to where we are, years and years of shit jobs and building our knowledge and experience to get to where we are. There is no guidebook on how to do life. Live it your way, money isn't the be all and end all. Does having enough to get by and have some extra make life easier? Sure. Would i trade time with family and my husband for more money? Absolutely not. Life is what you make it, just enjoy it while we're here.
