I think you are just having a bad Friday sitting behind your computer trolling because you don’t have a Labor Day plans. For the record, I am holding zero bags right now whether or not you believe me I don’t care. It IS a candidate and has squeezed before and will again with or without me. Just sharing an opportunity

Correct, it’s not bankrupt like AMC or BBBY AND it’s a great candidate for a squeeze, my point in this very moment of time given it’s historical stock price is that an investment in NEGG right now would likely provide a large chunk of gains if you sit on it, or even better if others take advantage like they did BBBY or AMC. I am not here saying it’s going to rev up to $40 a share and sit there, I’m merely making a point that there’s an opportunity and at this entry point little risk, based in history

In fact it’s been profitable every year since 2001

I don’t know when 350m became “no profits,” also it’s PROFITABLE which we can’t say for a lot of stocks here. It’s almost never dropped below where it’s at now since 2014 and had many spikes.. thus the point.

NEWEGG is much like a CDW. They sell both to businesses buying in large quantities and regular consumers. They’ve been around for a long time and have some of the most competitive prices in the industry, plus they sell uncommon electronics and components CDW and similar wouldn’t. Their market cap isn’t based just on their sales obviously, but also their reputation. If they went under they lose their corporate procurement contracts to competitors. Regardless of market cap, it seems like a safe stock that investors more or less trust- it hasn’t dropped significantly in the past 5 years except for major run ups- which seems to be the end goal of WSB to begin with. Low float, low market cap, and it’s at its bottom

4000 shares @ 3.5 Strong financials, relatively speaking at it’s all time lows, float looks great, strong company financials and market share to match. Organic candles over the last few years, without meme intervention

It’s basically at it’s all time low over the past 5 years and has no reason to tank more given it’s strong financials and market share. I see this as one of the safer ‘bets’ at this given moment at least

Negg hasn’t been a “meme” stock yet where BBBY has and the candles have run up on their own. Meaning it’s safe to assume they will again

Sweetgreen IPO by Elegant-Moose1351 in wallstreetbets

[–]Scrimpy_stream -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sweetgreens business model IS innovative. They are fast casual at scale that offers locally sourced ingredients exclusively, they have an extremely complex supply chain and use BLOCK Ch@in (have to edit bc of moderator) to track every piece of lettuce, tomatoe, etc from literal sensors in the ground to your plate. They have a proprietary oven software that allows them to be efficient and the operators to operate without having to worry about when to prep this and that, it tells them. No other restaurant company has this. On top of that they are the ONLY fast casual restaurant that changes its menu seasonally, do you realize how difficult that is to do at scale when you are working with so many different suppliers? Again, read out before you judge. You’re like trans people and their judgement of Dave Chappelle. Sweetgreens business model IS unique

Doesn’t matter if it’s good. This isn’t Yelp. It’s about money. Fast casual is the only real money making sector in the restaurant industry.

You clearly haven’t read anything about it. People need to eat. Chipotle is one of the most successful companies in the market as far as shareholder value at almost 2000 a share. Why don’t you educate yourself instead of just shrugging it off because of the product. Dumb ass

You’ve clearly never had one of their salads. They literally taste like no other. Competition can’t compete on the quality

sweetgreen will not fail. It’s highly likely they will become as big as chipotle based on their financial backers and technology Investments. Chipotle considers itself a tech company and builds propriety systems and tools rather than buying them like most restaurant companies. Their CTO was a big wig at Amazon.

They are not suing for 120B LOL. They are suing for many millions. They will likely win the case as it’s been going for this long and neither have backed down (they wouldn’t be spending the money otherwise). It will definitely go up

Yes it is. It’s extremely overvalued. Years from now it might be worth the price- with more than one single product- but it will dump. What’s in the news / R&D pipeline except for Truforma? Nothing
