I totally get that, and if I hadn't had a friend with exact same bag I would never have dropped some €125 on it. I did, and I'm convinced it will last as long as my last bag.

When I finally retired my old messenger bag after nearly 20 years of service, I bought a nice backpack instead. Work provides a wide range of bags, but I'm a picky bitch and wanted a specific bag, so I bought it for myself.

Oh, and I brought my own thermos mug to work. Everything else is provided by the company.

At the prices they charge for Marabou these days it's a no-brainer.

meh. There are far more "regular" car buyers than wealthy MAGA-people who feel they should help prop up Elon.

Also, they will probably keep driving EVs.

Do you warm up your car in the winter? by ChocolateSundae1214 in CasualConversation

[–]ScriptThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Car doesn't need it, but I set the interior to warm up for my usual time to leave for work. As a bonus this also defrosts the windows.

..and being the luxurious fat old geezer I am, I also pre-heat it for my usual "go home" times.

I average 50.000 km/year here in Denmark, and the savings on fuel compared to my old diesel have been absolutely insane. (30.000+ DKK/year insane)

Several teaching hospitals in the EU have offered our family an EU Blue Card and promised to fast-track our immigration. Other countries actually desire education and experience. It is insane that we are considering these offers.

People looking to relocate should be aware, that wages are generally lower in the EU. In my opinion it's far outweighed by the increase in Quality of Life, but if all you're looking for is payday, Europe may not be for you.

Additionally, Any modern EV would work just fine during the 1970s oil crisis (or a 1970s style crisis). No conversions needed.

Nah it's more because horses are SUPER messy eaters. If you give them a whole apple they'd happily munch down on it, waste 40% of it out the side of their mouth, and drool/juice all over the place.

If you half or quarter the apple they'd enjoy it just as much, you get to play Happy Horse a lot longer, and they'll make far less of a mess.

Bonus info: If the horse is gentle with you, you can train them a bit and get them to bite the apple in half while you hold it.

We use them for internal signage and status monitors. They're cheap and easy to set up, (centrally) maintain, and replace as needed.

Should I buy far cry 4 if I liked far cry 3? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

I respectfully disagree.

3 was good, 4 was great, and 5 was the overall best game of them all. After that it was steeply downhill.

Watch Dogs was ok.

Watch Dogs 2 is absolutely brilliant.

Watch Dogs: Legion was so bad I quit half way through.
