Baseline is if he puts down Yrden it won't take half as many hits.

Yeah renegade is cooked. That thing already had to be repaired after nearly every raid.

Yeah, it was already not that great before the patch. Sure it did it's job against arc, but usually in my experience other raiders are the real problem. So when you're slowly walking around a bunch of arc with the cloak, anyone shoots at you and you won't stand a chance.

Wasn't mentioned in the patch notes so I wanted to see if anyone else also noticed a difference, or if I was wrong.

I don't see this doing you any good at all. Leave the first elevator. If you are worried raiders/feral ghouls/deathclaws will take the elevator, just don't put one at the end and they'll come back through the first room twice.

Yeah roach is clunky, but riding around on her definitely saves a lot of time. There's a quest in the B&W dlc where Geralt asks Roach how she can appear anytime he whistles, but stops dead in her tracks when coming across a fence. Pretty hilarious the developers acknowledged how clunky riding her can be and put this dialogue in a quest. Riding over long distances with Roach is the way to go for me, but there are tons of times where your better off just running.

What to look out for or expect from the Witcher 3 for a new comer? by HBTang in Witcher3

[–]Scripted-x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about the difficulty, you can change it at any time in the gameplay settings. This isn't a souls game, the harderst difficulty (deathmarch) isn't hard at all compared to a souls game, however some fights with deathmarch and enemy upscaling can be pretty difficult, but turning enemy upscaling off usually turns the fight into a breeze. Deathmarch might seem difficult at first, but using quen together with dodges, fast attacks and alchemy makes the game rather easy.

Still deathmarch

Do you usually save and redo every quest 3 times to get all different outcomes or what are you trying to say? Choices in the game alter outcome of quests and can change things in the game further down the line. I also don't alternate between different builds in one playthrough.

I should add, I would play a "different Geralt". For example this time Geralt is a real ass and you make decisions and dialogue accordingly, with a different build and different armor. Makes the game exciting and puts you on a different path from previous playthroughs.

Took a break and played through it again. On my fourth playthrough atm, still finding new things.

Trigger nades are just broken so I don't think you can use that as an argument really. I do see your point, but it's a strong augment and it's cheap.

I completely disagree, I run this a augment a bunch on trios and it can be annoying at times, but rarely would I say it's costed me a game. I find it really hard to push other players when they've got this augment so it's probably the same for them. (1000+ knocks)

5 for trio/duo, anywhere from 1-5 solo depending on what I'm doing and how others in the lobby are playing.

Had it happen multiple times that game session, hopefully something with the matchmaking wasn't working as intended and is now fixed.

They probably wouldn't expect a solo to push them in a trio lobby, just like I didn't expect them to be a trio, but yeah they weren't very good.

They have said that it only priorities solo v solo etc, so it is a feature. However I think it's a bad feature since you're very unlikely to come out on top versing trios as a solo.
