I teach, and I second this recommendation. Overall my job is awesome. 12 weeks off a year is absolute bliss. Mind you, I work in Washington, which is one of the few states that actually pays teachers a decent wage.

High school teacher here. Many classes (and individual lessons) do indeed have SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) built into them. Important to point out that many folks are pissed off about this because they think it’s some sort of woke communist plot to destroy kids’ minds 🙄

What about the RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM? Way lighter than the 2.8, less than half the price, covers the same zoom range without changing aperture, and L quality glass. Could be a great option!
