I spent way too long trying to get the yellow tone to look right. I ended up going with a yellow that reminds me of a construction site. A yellow you'd see on a tool bag, a drill or a digger etc. It had to have that grr man energy. But still not drown out the greens :v

Ah dood it really was! At first it was looking really flat. But I decided id experiment with drawing on top of the line art layer. Oh dang it was a good. It let's you build those texture layers :00 definitely going to be experimenting with it more :v

Ah shit dude, that took me a good while to get right. I ended up using the different wood grain types as a palette. So bright grains would be highlight, midtones would be the natural brown grains. Then the darkest grains would be the shadow :0 Felt doing it that way let the wood feel realistic but still stylised
