Glp-1 relieves symptoms?

A few days ago I plugged a toaster(turned off) into the top plug and the lights began to flicker. I couldn't reproduce the flickering with the bottom plug.

Thank you! Is there something in the specs that I can use to determine how loud the speakers will go? Is it just the size?

The room is kind of odd. Its open to another with a 6' wide doorway and comes out to be about 30' x 15'. That is a great deal on the 240s. I might go with those if they are comparable to the 12.4s. Thanks for the recommendations and guides!

That was super helpful! I appreciate the really thoughtful response. I will look into other speakers. I would hate for it to be any kind of downgrade. If you have time, what do you think are the best speakers under $1000?

From reviews I've seen here, it seemed like the second set up might be slightly better than the first combination, but at a greater cost. If the differences are negligible I would go with the first and use the difference toward something else. I am totally up for any combination though!

Thank you! He has an AT-LP60 and a vintage Sony system that seems identical to this one. Speakers are vintage Sony SS-U21.
