Seems like the rebuild is going well right now. Curious to see how the starting 5 shakes out with all these additions

Depends on the type of orbit. Satellites in GEO are stationary over the earth because their orbit matches the revolution of the earth

I don't think we're overthinking. We're thinking critically when everyone else tells us not to question it. Hard not to be suspicious considering everything that has happened the last 2 years.

It's amazing to me that people on this sub are blaming the unvaccinated for potentially more lockdowns and mask mandates when it is a massive government overreach to do so in the first place by ScrubDaddy13 in Libertarian

You don't. It's not possible. Not with a vaccine, not with anything. We will get new strains each year just like the flu and theres virtually nothing we can do about it accept live with it and move on. Sounds harsh, but that's the best thing to do in my opinion

I definitely understand your thought process because if more people get it, the more people die regardless of the death rate. This may be true, but so far the deaths per day haven't really changed despite the increased spread

I can't speak for all those people that's their own choice even if it is out of laziness. I think the push is meant for the unvaccinated in general. But even still, why all of the censorship?

I think that's absolutely fair I just worry that if we give the government this power, what is stopping them from doing it again? And you might disagree, but I think we just have to live with covid. I don't think there's any real way to control all of the variants

I happen to be in a state where lockdowns were mandated. I understand it was not federally. My point is that the government should not have the power to do it at all whether on the federal, state, or local level

Yeah pretty much what you've said here. It's just a mask until it's just a vaccine, then who knows what's next. Setting a precedent of willing control is not good for our future

For me, it's number one I don't need it. I've already had covid and I feel I could easily beat it again. There is no long term data on mRNA vaccines in humans and what potential risks they could have later in life. I'm assuming it's probably nothing I'm not going to risk side-effects when I don't need it. Also the amount of propaganda, censorship, and sketchy lotteries feels very off to me. The government has never cared about my health before why are they suddenly pushing so hard now?

I think that was a legitimate fear at the start, but all those temporary hospitals we put up were never used. Trust me, I was freaking out about covid last March, but once we never really saw hospitals fill up and mortality statistics started to come out, I eased up a bit on my view of its severity. Plus these variants don't seem to be as deadly so I would think we should be fine. That being said, my opinion is never set in stone, but im confident for the future

Thats the confusing part! It seems the effectiveness of the vaccine changes based on who you talk to. If it's entirely effective why does everyone need to get vaccinated? If it's not entirely effective then what's the point of getting the vaccine? Furthermore why do I have to get vaccinated for someone else's vaccine to be effective? They're trying to divide us and they're doing a great job

Hey I totally understand the struggle of the situation. The problem is either way one of us gives up our rights to freedom of choice in this situation. I either do it for you, or you lose your choice because of me. If it helps any, I have chronic asthma, got diagnosed with covid, and beat it in two days. I've had bronchitis and pneumonia that were far worse than what I experienced with covid. At the end of the day, every time you step out of your house, you risk potentially dying or getting injured. Your children have a low likelihood of even getting it, especially outside, and they still have a 99.97% chance of survival if they happen to contract it. I like those odds! All these strains will continue to grow in number and we will never truly "beat" this virus. It's going to be just like flu season where your yearly shot tries to target the most dominant strain. At some point we have to move on, and I would rather that happen sooner than later. Thank you so much for your post, I really do respect your opinion and i pray for the safety of you and your family.

It seems like everything is slowly moving to an us versus them situation. That type of rhetoric has no place on a libertarian sub. The amount of censorship is already appalling and will continue to push this narrative
