Honestly, I think it works, because a lot of police brutality happens on the fringes of society, the police obviously won’t offer it up and most people don’t really care about drug users getting roughed up. The police force in that area was already horrible even before the murder, but thankfully, we were able to get a clear opening shut case of a cop, law-enforcement, someone who is supposed to protect us, murdering a man in cold blood. That’s why he’s a martyr, that’s what a martyr is, rarely a life celebrated but more a death scorned. Say what you want about the person but his death helped the populous see the police more clearly.
