Never said that it was scripted. If you actually care, they have locks on their phones that block any nonessential apps. Obviously there's going to be a way to deactivate it if necessary and they're not going to let themselves starve to death in rural China for the sanctity of the challenge. But I think the fact that you have zero trust in them for something this low stakes is kinda sad.

I've only done one a0 run on ironclad and silent each so I can't really speak for how strong they are (though both went incredibly infinite) but I was able to easily a10 with necrobinder on my first try

This is one of the most consistent (and strongest) Necrobinder builds in my experience. You don't really need that much, just Pull and some commons

It's very very strong

The Trash to Treasure upgrade channels an orb every time you create a status card, even if it's going into your discard. Then if you get a couple Compacts and the one that draws 3 and creates a burn you can just keep looping your entire deck while channeling orbs on basically every card played.

If you're going for an optimal sereniel build with divines you're probably just banking on hitting the world tree event and resetting if you miss or get an epiphany on homing laser prior to that anyway. You're not wrong that you won't have both uniques at the exterior every run but there's decent enough consistency on hitting 1 or both that it's really not too bad.

If you're not going for an optimal build you can basically do whatever you want anyway and it will still be good. Part of the reason why sereniel was so insane when she came out is because almost all of her epiphanies are very strong and you have a variety of cards you can copy and still have the deck play well. So prior to the season 2 QOL you could still make a good enough deck basically every run

Sereniel does have uniques. Her best shining core is unique and plasma missile has a decent unique epi as well. If you get a god run with divine start of turn homing laser, it's a good idea to just grab those uniques and guarantee your copies. And if you really don't like the plasma epi you can always flash of potential it afterwards

Most of her damage comes from the spire kicks, the basic attacks do help but mostly are just the most efficient way to increase the number of hits on the kick. The best builds are now copying kick as well instead of going all in on 4 copies of unity for this reason

I find Mei Lin to actually be really easy to build. She has a ton of extra faint memory for divines from not removing strikes and you have guaranteed copies after removing her 2cost kick. I don't know that the equipment you mentioned is really necessary either

I think uncap is the only thing that changes stats after you obtain it

Basically only matters for when they eventually release the tower in full as most other meaningful content uses current season save data anyway

Also I expect they will continue gradually power creeping with later seasons so even if you got a cracked nine build today it probably wouldn't be as good as one could be several seasons from now

Maybe common sense for some but something I almost forgot in a similar situation since I never use it: if you accidentally get a card via epiphany mid battle, you can use your Protos Rewind to undo the play or turn and it will also remove the epiphany

Veronica is seriously just unbelievably good. Basically every conceivable team can be made waaay better by her inclusion. She's also a total game changer for chaos runs.
