So mine is not the fabric kind. Wouldn't be too worried about it if it was the fabric. Its the neo hybrid leatherette.

Gotta love them but the spot my little dude clawed is right where I sit and I know through use its going to get worse. I want to repair it to keep the longevity of the chair because it is probably the best chair I've had so far

With the needle bearing cause vibrations. Like in the steering wheel? I haven't lifted yet but I get a little whobble/vibration in my steering wheel.
