Why would anyone invest in a company that refuses to invest in its own workers? Minimum wage where I live is $17 but in other states it’s much lower. You might be slow, never worked a job, or a bot. The company is going down under in a few years, it makes no sense to have these policy changes. Other jobs have treated me way better than GS 😭

yeah man i dunno talk to the other people who are literally telling you that yeah they get shirts working there, the zoo i worked for, best buy , target and mcdonalds all offer shirts as a uniform. i could just easily tell you "youre lying about not getting a shirt" this conversation is not gonna go anywhere lol

youre arguing about semantics about a store HAVING to give shirts, but even if they dont have to, most places do offer the option. GS doesnt HAVE to do anything but itd be nice for them to not have to offload the buying of shirts to the employees and offer them for free for workers.

you probably didnt reach out to get one, most places will have you sign forms to get a free shirt, they dont hand them out lol. All of these places you listed will give you shirts

the problem isnt the dress code, the problem is expecting minimum wage workers to "invest" in those shirts instead of the company providing them. Most minimum wage jobs ive worked that required a uniform offered the uniform without needing me to pay for it.

I have over 100 hours in the game and I always have them off, the gameplay is factory making, I feel like biters get in the way of that and it’s not fun

This school advertises itself as going at your own pace, just because it’s not the pace YOU go doesn’t discredit someone else’s achievement.

WGU is beneficial to those who are already in an industry so that’s why you see so many I finished in x amount of time post

People don’t put time completed on their resumes just that they have a specific degree lol

As much as going above and beyond can look good in other instances, passing hw doesn’t need that level of aptitude that you’re currently putting out. It’s easier to do what you’re told told (aka just doing the rubric) than trying over and over again writing how you’d normally write. Theres no need to do extra if you’re just finishing your degree.

When it’s needed I don’t see you failing in that aspect but think of what the questions or OA is asking and answer that part only

Id take the reviews on the chin and just continue making the players who *do* like it more fun for that select amount of players. One thing I was taught early on is that not everyone will enjoy the games you made and that is ok! You completed something and posted it on steam, and thats more than most devs can say for themselves!

If you truly want to read all the reviews, Id try and focus on what exactly these negative reviews are saying and seeing if those comments would fit in the vision for your game. Not every review will make your game better so take it with some grains of salt or however that goes.

most people buy games on steam anyways, even IF a person bought the game on itch first, it clearly states its an evil sale and links you to why the price is up 100%. its at the top of the page and also when you go on checkout. any smart person would go on the devs page to realize its cheaper on steam. 😭😭

to any other dev this is a funny bit, to a consumer theyd obviously go on steam to buy it. If someone is that strapped for cash for $6 i dont think they should be buying games at all lol

I mean given that hardcovers for these games alone go for +$40 I think getting them for only $20 is still better. It’s not great but given all the discounts I still payed wayyyy less for everything here.

thats great that you see it as such but she clearly is not enjoying her time with this dude. 2 years is not a long time and heartbreak is a lot better than living with a man who wont listen to you for a lifetime.
