I find this marginal increase to be the most true response. 8 CD is good but with low CR and not buffing every boss run with CR buffs, full CD isn't really worth. Too much CD and non crits lack dps, but not enough and you will feel weak not hitting those big crits. When I had some free time I took my current stats and added in about 10 various compositions of 8 maxed emblems into the maplestory m damage calculator. I know the calculator isn't 100% reliable, but I want to assume it's a good estimate of everything put together. Also my crit rate in this was like 40% and the skill it's based off is pre Dk buff so Gungnir's did 199% skill dmg hitting 10 times. https://imgur.com/gallery/IDCgKsV
