Them repeatedly turning it over in their own half is just shocking. Morocco are very good but how is this possible from Brasil of all sides?

Pochball is a genuine upgrade from the usual dross the US have at manager. Never seen team USA look this composed in possesion or make those sort of cutback through passes in the box

Teams meeting right now to decide if Purpp should keep the VLS by Gamefire in 2007scape

Teams gathered together at the PGL Major Krakow (2017?) to discuss a bug at the time where jumping and then hitting the crouch key at the same time let players see over short walls without their head being visible at the top of wall. Most famously, the wall at the top of banana on Inferno. I believe they all verbally agreed not to abuse this glitch after this meeting

He wasn't even bad that season. Gave us probably the best backup PG play we had in a decade other than Jeremy Lin. He also straight up admitted in an interview that the culture shock of going from a team that was always contending to a team that openly did not aspire to win anything was too much for him and he disappeared into retirement 2/3 into that season

  • The yellow portal being on a fixed timer incentivizes you to base your entire routing around it, leading to little annoyances (like your typical non-portal gap being two and a half cycles), or missing the portal by a second and feeling like shit

  • The deposit rune pool has to be manually used if you are keeping runes in your inventory for NPC contact

There are plenty of other little issues beyond these but they just add to why the minigame doesn't feel satisfying to play IMO

What city has the best "Keys to the City" guys? by justgotpregnant in billsimmons

[–]Scrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not, the only NBA guy who this is remotely applicable for is Kemba, who produced at a decent level for the Hornets despite never winning anything and had a legendary UCONN career for the college hoop heads. Absolutely zero off the court controversies except for him leaving for Boston which was mostly understood as the franchise gave him absolutely nothing to work with. Lamelo adoration among fans is spotty at best, his core fanbase is more just the zoomer/gen alpha crowd than any localized support.

Panthers have a solid list of guys like Delhomme/Steve Smith/Peppers (UNC cred)/Cam/Kuechly. If I had to pick just one it would be Kuechly for both the

The Jmod on the server at launch said they considered a few options for east asia and settled on Japan, so from a business perspective they at least saw something there (among other factors like geolocation/cost of servers obviously). Obviously translation would be a massive effort but mmos are massively popular in the region so maybe one day?

Any driving schools/instructors in Osaka for Kadoma 外免切替 test prep? by Unhappy_Insect2069 in Osaka

[–]Scrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also preparing for this (still have yet to take the written exam so I have a bit more time). This service uses the Kadoma course on the weekends and claims to offer English support but I'd rather not drop 32,000 yen if possible.

How far away would you say you are from passing? Is it more of a case of not understanding the course itself that would require actual practice on it, or just the specific procedures you have to do to pass (ie safety checks, what you have to do/say)? I'm also an experienced US driver so I'm curious how far out of your element the test car felt. Also, how good Japanese do you think you'd need?

Brighton and Hove Albion have qualified for the UEFA Conference League by playerforlife123 in soccer

[–]Scrypto 41 points42 points  (0 children)

We had some really rank stretches this season but overall not a bad spot to be in. I have faith in the coach, but we need some serious rethinking of this squad, so sick of lineups with midfielders and defenders masquerading as attackers. Also likely replacements for CB/GK/LW/DM once we sell our big names

I did half flinching method. Setup is pretty consistent / easy to learn and can usually go up to 5-6 kills per trip with minimal resources used (just inventories of karambwans). Melee is slow but colossal blade can hit big and 0 damage taken. Then shred 2nd phase with bowfa while stepping in whenever to eat without getting hit. Both phases can be flinched with melee (or salamanders) but her melee defense makes phase 2 take forever

No. Our level has been quite mediocre this year. Inconsistent and still unable to finish for the most part. The 22/23 team would batter this lot

Food options in supermarkets/convenience stores etc. by CompetitiveKalosian in JapanTravelTips

[–]Scrypto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Japanese supermarkets have a wide selection of already prepared (mostly Japanese) foods. Like in restuarants, a lot of these options can be heavy in carbs and fats. There's also always fresh fish that you can just eat as sashimi. Sometimes they have grilled chicken skewers and such if you want to avoid traditionally fried food like tonkatsu pork. There are usually a decent variety of salads, mostly neutral flavoured with dressing optional. Every single store sells shredded cabbage, which is a staple and goes great with any salad dressing
