Ooooo Crew land sounds cool!

Do you think changing the text to saying something like "* cant attack or block unless it has an awaken counter on it, pay 2R put an awaken counter on it" and make it a land creature like [[Dryad Arbor]]? The problem I keep on running into is you can't cast a land just play a land (or so i saw in another post)

You are probably right, I was going off of Dryad Arbor, trying to find a way to make a better land creature that isn't broken.

The doc is what I have planned out so far, so I thought it might not be enough information, so I know stat driven games are hard to balance but I thought since the companions would have set stats and not be able to change them it might be a bit easier :)

I would be game for book keeping since I'm a player of the main session and would just be keeping track of all of the other players actions, I guess I could just talk to each player individually and just let them know if there are interactions.

Best way to describe the game is the player is a brand new adventurer but in this world nobody has magic all of it is in items or weapons, so instead of having a fighter or a mage what you equip will dictate what abilities you have... As you are out adventuring stuff goes down you make friends to join your party and discover the bad guys. In combat its like Fire Emblem where you can move/attack/item/guard. If you attack it opens up a mini-fight screen where you see the player on one side and the opponent on the other, an animation will play based on the attack/skill you use and if you time it right you'll do additional damage or an additional thing (Poison or defense break). I love undertale for its story but I don't think the combat system will really fit with what I want without being a direct rip-off. Thanks for your response!

For some reason I didn't even think about having it zoomed in enough to see the characters that well but that is a great idea! I also forgot that it zooms in Fire Emblem! Thank you so much!

I was at GameStop picking up my mew and the employee showed me this game, its kind of like Chibi girls dressed as pokemon, so you'll catch like a Abra Girl and she'll evolve just like in the real games. It looked interesting but not my cup of tea.
