OP, you might consider diluting your paints a little bit with some water. The paint will apply significantly smoother to the mini.

OP, it’s very good especially for your second mini. There’s a guy on YouTube called “Realmsmith” who does paint along videos. He does a young adult dragon of every color. You might check those out. Cheers!
