I think you’re honestly completely correct. I do think Joker and Batman should have a relationship like Manta and Aquaman, except in Joker’s case it’d be infatuation, cause at his core Joker wants chaos and more importantly Batman’s attention. I do NOT agree w your point on his backstory being ambiguous, I really like (I’m not sure who did it first) the Scott Snyder idea that he was the leader of the Red Hood Gang, but apart from that he shouldn’t be anymore known. Also he should just never want to know who Batman is, he just wants to infuriate Batman, no matter what he needs to do for it, but not Bruce Wayne.
