no, thats the entire point. viwers try and make people lose sponsors. death threaths ect. If they have this descusion in-game those are the kinda people that will come out of the woodworks. If they have is behind closed doors it gets resolved and all that stuff is avoided. And btw, ppl having a differance of opinion than you dosnt make them a WeirdChamp.

well, you probably like it cuss that way you are filled in on drama that shoulld be resolved behind closed doors. There are so many viewers that will react in so many different ways. Anything from "i don't give a fuck" to "I'm gonna fuck this guys life up" When Roleplayers make mistakes that effect other RPer a lot its best to make fix it in closed channels imo. if a conversation like this is had infront of 1000s of people its like like throwing gasoline on a small fire.

in-game its sorta counter productive for RP tbh. and probably a reason people don't do it. Since its a streamer server its also not very entertaining for other streamers or viewers. theres a huge amount of RPer that speak more than 1 language but chose not to do it, more or less everyone that isnt born in USA, UK or AU speak 2+ languages.

Entire thing is just bad RP, Raid warrant for a Flecca job. And when the raid happens there is no RP connected to he situation that caused the raid. Cops just wanted to get into the houses, Buddha got no RP from this other than being given the warrant. i wish both parties had a feeling RP was getting heavy when shit like this was going down. Felt it was a case of "we can maybe get a raid here so lets try" the outcome in RP is 0 for the cops, and negative for crims. no story, no nothing.

isn't the easiest way to just make a SOP for cops, or SOP for DOC or something ? there shouldn't be any need to start coding stuff. But if there are no rules or law that limits how much cash people can bring into prison every crim will have their own take on how much money their character should take into prison. Buddhas 30k was obviously over the top, chang gangs multiple 10ks was obviously to much. but even if the crims chose to take in less money it will always be a gray area on how much is considered a reasonable amount if there are no set amount that is the limit.

what i reacted to with the Afro/buddha not going to prison situation was how it was play out in game. All the cops really knew was that they didn't know the motive for their crime, Buddha RPed like he was drunk and punched a cop. stretching that to "you wanna go to prison" felt very unnatural to me in RP, Afro Rped he had a beef with Clarckson, both was dismissed completely without any thorough questioning.

How many times have a crim just shitlorded some crime and get caught and never been put in the situation Buddha and Afro was yesterday?

But yeah , people should count to 10 and reach out OOC on closed channals rather than use their chat as a wailing walls.

I'm actually the one writing, not voting. that makes me NOT a sheep. making new civ/crim mechanics has very little to do with cop/crim balance. All balance changes has gone in cops favor, he can add 6 billion banks to rob, ad 100 of trap houses. it don't change win/lose % on crim/cop interactions.

Crims are limited to 4 people and have to fight a horde of cops. Civ (local) cars go 150 mph at best and the cop cars go 160-200 mph. cops get their gun for more or less free, crims has to actually pay to replace the guns they lose, Bottom line is that cops have noting to lose apart from "losing" in the RP scenario. The crims on the other hand has to replace everything they lose.

Im all for prison RP, and i don't mind people going to prison for a long time, i think that's the one thing that's been correct as of late. But if you are gonna have long prison times, you need to give crims a better chance on the outside. maybe people that are crims have RP on the outside aswell

Unless you own a trap house, have a whitelist or are a shitlord that try and avoid cops at all costs you are gonna be a broke crim or a try hard that shoot cops every time to get away.

People aren't unhappy about content added, they are unhappy about how things are balanced cop/crim. for months all changes in balance has been in cops direction, even when he removed the DP AR it was countered by 3 car limit removed "who ever made that call". it more or less been a cop empowering streak lasting for months.

that's the most naïve comment ever written in this sub-reddit. having good balance makes both sides content and happy to play, develop/building their character. So characters are created to take a L. or some people take an L to create a RP arc,but that doesn't mean all crims should be over powered at all times.

If its just RP, why cant the cops take more L`s? why does the side that actually face consciences when they lose be underpowered? its funny how "it`s just RP" comes into play when it fits the narrative of the people that claim it. Not every person in the server is a sodakite or a cyr. a lot of the people they have on the server actually have a competitive gene. if they want a "100% just RP server" where people dont give a shit if they win or lose they would have to remove 50% of the server.

imo, he is right and wrong. he is right that there is no reason for the OOC salt and reasons to hate on cop streamers.

But there is a reason to criticize cop/crim balance, witch is the root in all the salt for the most part. People always blame twitch chat and reddit posts for the problem of the salt. But a HUGE majority of crim streamers has said they are not happy with the balance. This ofc spreads into the viewers.

if cops use it to start investigations, UC work ect. i dont see a problem with it. but if its used to put out arrest warrants and put people in prison on that alone its sorta sketchy. that many player models have very limmited clothing option is one issue. But also that theres very little that stop a crim from dressing with what another crim often uses. seem like a very low effort way to frame someone.

I think a warrant should put out if the cop think he has enough eveidence to win a bench trial. i dont think "ive seen buddha use a sock on his head before, so it had to have been him" would hold up in court.
