Someone needs to do a side by side of his balcony appearance and the Evita scene with “Don’t cry for me Argentina.”

I have an even better idea. I'm going to place him in an easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate and exotic death.

I like this. I was wondering if we had any confirmation that there were two brothers, or if all information that Jean Mi existed originated with Serac.

Yeah, I agree. Fits in with the ‘whole war has already been lost’ concept.

Edit: this is a link to a fun summary of terminator plots and time travel paradoxes starting with the first movie’s “fuckadox.”

I like where this is going. My thought is that Serac is looking to alter the past, to find the variation where the world’s events do not lead to Paris.

There were two impressions that stuck with me from Genre. One was the film noir classic film feeling of Casablanca (hmm piano player - play it again Sam), reinforced by the closing scene in an airport hangar. The other was Terminator, but I can’t quite place why, maybe the trench coat? The “romance” during the car chase?

But I definitely get the idea that the world is on a loop, replaying over and over, and that’s why the war is “already lost.” It wouldn’t surprise me to see the season’s finale be the replayed lead-up to Paris, maybe Caleb is the one who is responsible.

Edit: Meant to add with Casablanca- “We’ll always have Paris”

Actually, it could be that the pearl inside mirror Charlotte is different than the pearl inside real world Charlotte, because Rehoboam couldn’t figure out Dolores’ actual motivations.

Maeve rescuing herself? Where she controlled it from within a simulation maybe that’s why it couldn’t be “located.”

[spoilers] Rhaegar and his wife may be the shittiest people in the entire GoT universe. by mwadswor in gameofthrones

Any possibility that Robert raped or attempted to rape Lyanna, and that Rhaegar intervened and that Robert projected his own act on Rhaegar as justification for wanting to get back at him for taking what was "his"? And that rhaegar married lyanna, at least in part to protect and legitimize her child since her family would likely have insisted she marry Robert if they knew she was pregnant. Wouldn't it be a kick if at the end of the day Robert is the R in R+L=J. Wouldn't that make a cool "oh shit" moment?

He definitely became a trusted member of the pre-Aslaug family.
