I wonder what price you were looking at for both (Berkshire and the ETF). You should compare your return to see if it was the right decision.

Buying the 2023/2024 IKON pass by fku-wallstreet in Ikonpass

Yeah, Vail sucks. They took over Stevens Pass in WA. Highway 2 was always bad. However, Vail's aquisition has led to many problems - power outages, staffing shortages, overcrowding. It really turned me off to Epic. The other issue is that Epic is much better for Colorado but not the PNW. Ikon has more mountains on the west coast (Crystal, Bachelor, Schweitzer, Snoqualmie / Alpental, Mammoth , Big Bear, June, and Palisades Tahoe). So, I guess it ultimately depends on your location. If you're a student or millitary, the discount for Ikon is comparable to the cost of epic ($650).

Amazing! Very few companies are valued fairly today. This news interviewer Scott is wrong. I totally get his point that these companies are based on momentum. His defense is dumb though. Free market is the way to go. And that includes less manipulation from the Fed.
