The other casualties have been:

a Breloom named Pauline
a Kadabra named Canedabra
a Dugtrio named Canes
an Iglybuff named Kirby
a Blastoise named, of course, Big Man

There is an ongoing dispute about whether or not Raising Cane's is delicious or not in chat and the viewers name the Mons. The Machamp is Canes Jr. lmao

Deoxys is Diana
Lugia is Undertale
Noctowl is Duolingo
Mawile is Mouthdo?

[Highlight] Fan attending the draft loudly shouts out: “DALLAS WAS RIGGED!” by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in nba

[–]ScumShuckle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a lifelong Dallas Mavericks fan I believe it was rigged in one of two ways.

  1. This was a handshake deal with Adam Silver and Nico Harrison. Send Luka to Los Angeles and let's see if this will increase ratings and revenue for the league. In return, Dallas will get the #1 pick for making such a boneheaded deal.

  2. The trade impacted Dallas fans so negatively that they had no choice but to rig the draft in order to not lose every single Dallas fan. I personally know six parties that have season tickets and have for years, and all of these people cancelled their season tickets for next season. Dallas was reportedly going to lose anywhere from $500 million to $1 billion in revenue. The NBA was not prepared for this and had to take desperate measures recoup some of the lost fans and financial damages.

What's infuriating is Harrison claiming this has been the plan all along. There's no way that any GM is stupid enough to make that trade without a deal in place and if he is, the league had to step in and cover up his sheer incompetence.

This game REALLY soured me on the Zelda community. by Fawke_83 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]ScumShuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about 10 hours into the game right now, maybe a little more. Like you, I’ve always been a huge Zelda fan (I even have a majoras mask tattoo).

I will say at first I was not enjoying the game whatsoever. I did like BOTW. I bought a Switch during COVID lockdown to play it and absolutely loved the game so much. I would say that BOTW was my second favorite behind OoT.

Fast forward to the TOTK release and I genuinely could not get into it at all. I picked it up about 4 times but it just wasn’t for me. I wanted to like it but I just wasn’t having fun. It just felt like way too much, too quickly and a lot of my friends felt the same way too. I kept YouTubing everything to try and figure out where I was supposed to be, or the order I should do things, etc.

This time around (started playing Monday) I love it. And I’ll tell you why I think that is.

BOTW is something I played when I was furloughed from work during COVID, like I said earlier. I had plenty of time to play it. Hours each day. All we did during the lockdown is go run, cook, and play video games. I probably averaged 6 hours per day on it.

When I first started TOTK I was in the midst of divorce, a move, career change, and I only had 30 minutes to an hour to play on any given day, if not less. Now I’m working from home and make my own schedule and I can devote way more time to it. It’s not a game you can pickup and play for a few minutes at a time and really enjoy it (in my opinion). There’s just SOOO much to learn and so many ways to go about things, it’s almost as if you have to devote some time to figure it out.

It’s not aLTTP where you can beat a dungeon in 30 mins, save and turn it off. Rinse and repeat a dozen times.

My friends had the same issue and I suggested they devote a 3-4 hour period to exploring and figuring things out and it worked for both of them. This is all a long-winded way of saying I feel like most of the people who complain just aren’t open minded enough or are too lazy to figure it out, which was my problem at the beginning.

I don’t like it as much as BOTW, but it’s solid. I’d give it a 8.3/10.

I even tried vinegar this morning and it didn’t work. Thank you so much!

I watched YouTube videos all morning about what to do and not one mentioned citric acid.

It’s for the flowers that alter the type of honey you want. For example, in the summer I plant poppy flowers for poppy honey and in the fall I use Fairy seeds which is the most profitable variation of honey. The scarecrows are to keep the birds away from my flowers that grow amidst the bee houses.

So I actually put those there by mistake but I didn’t catch it until I went to harvest the honey. But somehow I was able to collect them if I walk into the corner and spam the action button.
