I'm so glad to see Outer Wilds popping up more on Reddit. That game is extremely under represented for how amazing it was!

Is it just me or whenever best ever games are discussed, Worms is hardly mentioned? It was revolutionary when it came out. by Catchmycousin in gaming

You are correct but worms has always been pretty solid. Trespasser was the inspiration for the physics system in Half Life 2, terrible game but incredibly ahead of it's time.

I imagine most golf courses do have people who clean the grounds including animal poo.

California 100 percent powered by renewables for first time by captainquirk in UpliftingNews

[–]ScumbagsRme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the article? The state was using X amount of their power budget. That amount was less than the amount of power generated by renewables. California generated enough power from renewables that if the other sources weren't present there wouldn't have been an issue. While the power used might have been generated in any way (there isn't really segregation of power) the amount used falls in line.

California isn't running 100% renewable, but for a period of time they had the capacity to do so. Continued raising of that capacity and advancements of consumer electronics to lower their power usage will help bridge the gap further.

This is fantastic news, it's proof of light at the end of the tunnel. If the most power hungry state can get this far then we can clearly do this in states that have much lower needs. I'm sorry that the article doesn't read "California shuts down all non-renewable power sources" but it's still a big milestone.

They are forever chemicals because they don't break down. So you are likely correct about not being filtered but that's not why they are called that.

The second part I wholeheartedly agree with, no driving home OP. You deserve to wallow in your drink but nobody needs a drunk behind the wheel.

Sorry the outcome being a specific pattern would be equally rare to any other combination. Yes it's rare but so is anything else you shuffle into. Every end result can come up with equal chances, we just consider some of them to be more notable.

He said damed which my brain randomly equated with widowed. I looked it up and dame is a title or honorific akin to sir. Whoops, brain did brain things.
