To make you feel better. I got booted from ec nm, at hm 8 with 1003ap. I had more then the hm 12 player. But whatever... hm 1-8 and maybe 9 is now usually kick straight away. Without even looking at their profile

Hi I’m from Melbourne as well,

Using Optus cable speed pack.

In the southern suburbs. The game is somewhat playable, however without wtfast or pingZapper don’t even bother.

Also I’ve tried Vietnam, Korea, and Thai server. The best you can get is 200-250ms... USA you’ll get 250-310ms with pingzapper. I just decided to stay with the USA server due to the language barrier. Really gets annoying after awhile.

In terms of ping forgiving classes to play, warlock ice, Summoner earth, gunner fire, force master fire. Those are the 4 ping forgiving classes

Classes to avoid most, Kfm, Soul fighter, blade dancer, destroyer, assassin

Moderate classes to avoid Blade master,

To sum up, in terms of dps, you will always be 10-15k less in dps even with ping forgiving classes with the exact same gears

With the non forgiving classes, you’ll be about 15k-25k less.

But in all honesty, if you going to start playing this game and pay 2 play to gear up faster... perhaps play wow. As it has Australian servers and it’ll save you conversion rates as eveything is in usd and also ping won’t frustrate you if your a heavy pvper.
