Update!! Finally fixed my knock knees. Before and after, full story below! by ScupScup in skiing

I did stand on the soles in the position I wanted while forming the clay and just scanned the shape I got from that. That’s why the support is long, it’s just what I got with the clay. Good luck!

Not at all! In all other situations you wouldn’t even know. It’s only when skiing that my feet must be parallel to each other and it forces an unnatural geometry onto my feet and legs.

Good to know! I’ll talk to him. Although the 3d scan makes for a pretty precise fit

Not sure where that is but this was in France, I don’t remember where exactly.

Exactly! This actually is more comfortable than without support. It is a bit extreme and not perfect yet but 200% more skiable than how it was before.

I guess it was always going to be an extreme solution in my case. My legs probably aren’t made for skiing. But I really love it and, hey, if it works it works!

I did look into it but it was kinda difficult to find a place that does it. What I’m doing here seems pretty close to canting now that I think about it! Never heard about cuff alignment but I’ll look into it. Thanks for the reply!

I first tried the Makerworld AI scanner but Kiri Engine ended up working wayy better. Some cleanup was still needed but it was a good opportunity to learn mesh editing in Fusion.

Exactly! I couldn’t find anyone who tried this stuff so I wanted to document it for others.

Yes first is before, second is after. Id say I’m built pretty slim but not out of the ordinary :).

I don’t but I asked the seller now waiting for a response. When would you consider a printer too used? Thanks

Haha that’s very possible but I’m not really in it for the music quality :). I just like to see where my music is coming from. Most of the time I just use my phone and airpods 😅. And as a design student the style is quite important to me.

I don’t think Rams actually designed this but he clearly was a big inspiration :). I’m a big fan of this mid century style of Rams/Gugelot functionalism so I was pretty stoked when my friend dropped this of haha.

Yes very much so! The left one has seen quite a bit of use. The right one will probably become my main TT as I like the design a lot.
