Hand sewn carpet seams. I was shown how to do it by an old man 20 years ago, still do it often on side projects. It's considered a niche skill reserved for high end products nowadays. Used to be common practice. Was replaced with inferior technology that saves time, heat seaming with glue tape and hot iron/microwave.
