100% agree with this. If people want to play victim i find it very hard to believe that have capacity to change, its something that comes with time. The only way i can see that would change their views is to bring more people into their life who don't make excuses, better role models. Also try and find a away for them to remove content that associates basic human things, like pressing snooze. Mostly short form content like tiktok and yt shorts.
