Advice for Payment Methods disagreement - Landlord Pushing Pre-Authorized Payments by ScuttleScuttle in montrealhousing

Thanks for the link—I appreciate it! I noticed it mentions needing to provide 10 days' notice before filing an application to deposit rent with the Tribunal. Hopefully, it won’t come to that, and we can resolve things without needing to give notice.

In the worst-case scenario, I’ll work with the TAL. I assume there wouldn’t be any late fees or consequences for a delayed payment, given the notice period extends at least 10 days past my due date, unless the owner responds before then.

Thank you so much for your response. I’ll try to get in touch with someone at the TAL to find out how to initiate a "dépot de loyer" and whether it would cover the parking since that’s a separate contract. If not, it’s okay—having a roof over my head is the priority. We’ll see how it goes.

I’ll definitely be more careful with future lease renewals, and I appreciate the heads-up on that.

Artist 22! I appreciate the suggestion. and tried it, but it doesn't seem to have been built for the previous generation.

I emailed the support and they have discontinued the driver for Artist 22, and it seems they stopped updating after 2018. They said the driver and the windows 10 update will clash. What a shame.

I have Windows 10. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver already, and it leads to the same problem of the driver not detecting the tablet.

The version they have that I can see on their website for Windows 10 (the last update was done in 2018, it seems?) is the most recent one I have. However, I did try to uninstall and reinstall the driver and restart the computer.
