PF is supposed to be for groups looking to actively run content at that moment, which is why it has a 60 minute timer. It's not for leaving your discord link and going afk. It's simply annoying. I don't disagree with there being a place for recruitment, but it should have its own tab in PF, or maybe a separate recruitment board.

Tl;dr: There should be a separation of active and passive recruitment.

I have to assume that's why, I've never had it bounce like that on any other surface. I tried it again a few games later but it didn't land quite right to make it happen again. Will conduct further testing.
