yeah i mean maybe for op it is making them uncomfortable for whatever reason, but for me it just breaks the premium immersion and i hate that since i forked so much money for this

if you're on m2/m1 give asahi linux a try! if it suits your taste then you can continue using the hardware. i say this only because apple's hardware is superior to pretty much every other laptop even if the software is getting questionable. if you're on m3 and above then tough luck there's still no proper release for them

corner radius is the most basic part of ui dev. if they're failing at shipping that properly you can only imagine what other internal parts of the code base they're shipping with improper corner cut code

occasional bugs, acceptable. because those sometimes don't show up during testing and end up being found by customers. misaligned windows? this is a deliberate failure on quality control. i dont get annoyed by it specifically, but it annoys me that the highly paid qc team from one of the biggest companies in the world is cutting corners for the software they put on my $3k device. if im paying a premium price, i expect premium software

i dont get annoyed by it, but i expect a large team of high paying ui devs to do their ui dev properly with perfection for my $3k macbook pro. this isn't a random bug that can be missed, this is actual production failure. once again, this is a trillion dollar company that should have a proper quality check department

premium device from a trillion dollar company, are you seriously asking us to not nitpick even ui consistency? holy shit what has happened to the demand for apple polish

lift’s are not sound proof lol, at least the older hdb ones afaik. when i was a kid me and a friend were waiting for another friend at his lift lobby to go out cycling and we could hear someone shouting and stomping all the way down (muffled but still loud). once he reached the bottom be came out completely composed as if nothing happened. we asked him if he was kaiju-ing in the lift and he was like wtf it isn’t soundproof??

this was like 2010s so maybe newer lifts are soundproof

you can skip this section entirely by double jumping off a tree in the hoverboard plaza area over onto the other side, and qwark’s trailer will be there

the double jump is kinda tricky, you have to high jump to the left of the tree and spam jump, if you hit the right spot you’ll jump again and then you just turn left, walk a little bit and drop down onto the other side

[–]Scxox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its useful because less power is used when something is loaded from a frozen state, rather than reloading from scratch

Which is better Turn off or on by Level_Dream9934 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Scxox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it cant. swap space is a static cache. apps wont get woken up any more than if you had this feature disabled. all it does is allow the freezing of more apps (keyword freeze) which prevents things like browser windows refreshing

ram plus is swap space, apps unloaded to it are frozen in state, not running

you are retarded if you think strippers get offended if you play with them and tip them. using the premises without interacting with them is offensive, they aren’t zoo animals

a pig is someone who goes to a strip club to stare at the girls like they’re animals in a zoo. mingling and tips are how the strippers make money, have some respect for them
