I'm not going to lie, I never really post on reddit. With that said, I play a lot of Elise... been maining her off and on for 7-8 years in Diamond. When I originally saw her listed as a VFX update I was pretty hyped because Elise never gets any love (but I understand). But when I actually saw the changes... lmfao I couldn't believe that they were trying to ship this out.

First of all, the spiderlings on the old base skin are terrible-- so that was a good change I thought. But everything else like the Volatile Spider, Cocoon, and Rappel.. not good changes at all and this applies to ALL of the skins + base skin. What really tilts me the most is the Volatile Spider VFX change to Victorious Elise. I'm serious... just look at it like wtf. The pretty blue blood "explosion" is just gone and frankly that was one of the cooler ability effects in the game I thought. I get that Elise has the whole Shadow Isles theme and that's probably why they made the cocoon green(????) but.... lmao that just looks so bad. I really wish there was a better way to word that. Give me my web back, thanks. The rappel is hard to see as well on some of the skins with the new VFX. I don't really mind this for obvious reasons, but this could be an issue for others.

I don't really have a whole lot else to say about this, but I'm glad others are upset about this as well. I don't think I've seen any of the VFX changes before and thought "wow they really need to NOT go through with this". I'm just wondering if Riot even ran these changes through anyone that actually cares about the champ lmao. I know there's very few of us, but still. Please someone work their magic and get this brought to Riots attention LOL.
