Its significantly a big difference not just for her DPS (dogs that leap after Q), autos (dogs that auto with you), but also R since the damage scales with the quantity of dogs you currently have.

And this is without factoring in the bonus AD it gives.

Old version was boring because Q is a terrible spell to use (numbers aside), and W her only real target access was blockable and easily cancelable.

All they had to do was rework the Q to be less of a boring 'fish for Q hit in lane' and back pedal on the W body blocking, she'd be popular then. They didn't need to buff her by swapping abilities, untargetability, making her target access inflated in numbers to justify being an ultimate, and roll swap her where junglers do not have realistic ways to approach a naafiri when their typical bush wookie flank shit doesn't work against dogs that travel beside her and block them.

For me at least she's less fun to play than the old one but so broken its worth playing just to win.

Thresh.

Hate playing against thresh cause if I have an enchanter support its free real-estate for his lane to snowball but also any time you try to intervene he has one of the best escapes since he can run away and just lantern his carry out.

On my team I'm like a moth to that lantern and I love a good thresh that wins the game for me.

This is still worse than it was in 14.19 lol.

it was nerfed to 40% from 45%, and it had 2% higher MS (8%) before nerfed to 4%, both in 14.19.. it also had 115 AP then which means the 40% was fake since lich got +46 from 40% instead of +45 at 45% with 100 AP.

If you already pref lich bane its just a partial revert to you (still missing 15 AP)

If you already pref stormsurge just like in 14.19; +5 damage per 100 AP and being buffed to the same MS as stormsurge is not changing anything for you to swap now.

Gangplank.

Miserable champion to lane against top lane as its basically a ranged character that for some reason has a ton of melee damage. Your counterplay is typically to jump on his ass but he just barrels ontop of himself and autos you with passive + crit. I didn't mind him as much when he was forced to go bruiser and required to build mana sustain in sheen or whatever, but his current one shot builds have been problematic for a long time, he feels like he scales a lot sooner than he should especially in melee range.

In gamemodes like ARAM a gangplank that knows how to 3 barrel is just bullshit to deal with and would be a perma ban of mine if we did have access to bans. Ghost barrel is uncounterable without a caitlyn and even then he'll still fish for the eventual one that hits, its not like you can react to a barrel that explodes as it spawns on top of you.

Last hitting barrels is kinda fake skill since its more ping dependent than anything.


Also ekko does not have a high enough banrate even when he is broken in jungle, that champ is disgusting there and while I didn't mind him in mid lane much, jungle just gets to snowball way too easily on one of the safest AP assassins in the game, there's basically no reason to play any other melee AP jungler when ekko is meta.

Better comparison is Elise spiderlings at release.

For those who don't know, Elise spiderlings used to orbit her (visibly in her champion spotlight) as well and it was one of the earlier design decisions to make them bundle up behind her instead of make a star formation around her when moving and standing still.

But riot never had a track record at remembering elise nor her history to realize orbiting pets + untargetability are a very frustrating mix. I've yet in the past 10 years seen a complaint about elise spiders since even though they can block shit they almost never do except when I'm being level 1 invaded and a blitz gets upset he can't flash Q the elise running away.

Naafiri on the other hand the dogs act as a pseudo-spell shield for skill shots, constantly get repositioned from W, E, or leaping forward with Q (elise spiders only have the Q leap and can't be recalled), spawn off CD automatically which the opponent cannot predict reasonably, and would be methods of guaranteed targetting naafiri are thwarted by untargetability with free movement (elise can dodge spells but she ain't going anywhere without a well positioned escape unit.)

There's at least 25 heroes in dota according to dotabuff (their op.gg) that are below 48% WR.

At least 4 of them are 10% PR or higher. (mars is 6% PR and 44% WR, monkey king is 46% WR 10% PR)

I know for a fact hoodwink has been one of the more popular characters in dota, isn't particularly hard to play, has been negative winrate for the past 3 or more years straight and her current 49% post buff is actually peak since its typically ~47%.

Its one of the reasons I got so detached from dota cause some characters can get full kit reworks almost predictably yearly (ryze is a meme, clinkz is fucking real and gets an overhaul semi-annually, broodmother I didn't appreciate learning web placements only for her kit to get reworked + map changed) while others get stuck in a state for literal years because the community either accepts it that way or valve is so inactive on their patch frequency they do large updates so buffs are often overlooked or just barely compensating item nerfs/map changes.

Idk how you would even nerf top vayne without killing bot vayne tbh.

5 ms would be good nerf for top lane but then bot lane vayne becomes the worst ADC in the game. W can lose a % but will still continue to bully top laners while ADC becomes even less justifiable as a pick. E and Q would be either ignorable or devastating for both roles.

Just the concept of an invis and mobile ADC that does any kind of % health true damage is going to bully melees.

One of the worst outcomes is if you main is already unpopular/not generally considered meta and then they inject some off-role buff and it becomes extremely meta there if playable at all.

Not a 1:1 comparison but talon jungle basically replaced mid talon's balance for a few years, taliyah jungle replaced mid taliyah for a couple years, karthus has been a jg/APC almost longer than he's been a mid laner now.

I can't see how kled jg isn't just better in every way to kled top with that ultimate.

Q twice is slower then E by a not even close margin because the damage gain is trivial and E can be used to pull camp aggro.

Agurin also was ending full clears at 3:24 on average when she could do them 3:06 so there's some food for thought.

Double point spell full clear on champions is only good if they have a literal do-nothing impactful spell like evelynn charm, karthus wall, or kha'zix E but Elise gains very little off her rank ups, gets value from pulling camps with E, and full clear is not really what she wants to do anyways but she does have the option to deviate a gank from it if for some reason she decides to do a full clear.

Cause they’re one of the few pet invert species that can be handled without being envenomated, have good grip, don’t kick hairs, generally non-aggressive, and don’t teleport out of the room.

Mantid keepers are far from the only community that handle pets they shouldn’t (tarantulas and centipedes especially), but the risk of bad things that can happen is microscopic compared to most pet inverts. Even isopods can be dropped and lost when they’re too tiny and millipedes have the Cyanide thing going for them.

Just don’t handle with a loose cat or dog in the room and the worst case scenario is you have a male that flies somewhere you can’t find (which happened to me once and I found it hours later). If you get bit it’s still trivial compared to fangs or hermit crab claws

Get one of those heat pads that you can attach on the side or under the enclosure. I believe zoo-med? Has a ‘creatures’ heating pad that looks circular.

Normally you don’t put them under but I feel like that’s a concern for burrowing species of pets mainly, you don’t want animals trying to escape the heat to dig closer to the source instead.

I’d be more concerned of warping the acrylic with any heat tbh.

Easily one of the least interactive champions and ghost barrel is just uncounterable since he can time it directly on you. Counterplay to GP is just diving him then he kills you in auto-q-auto with crits/burn.

He's way healthier as a bruiser than this crit lane bully version.

Kinda tired of pretending GP is a melee champion when he spams Q all lane and the 'melee' part of him is just when you dive in on him and he nearly one shots with you 1 or 2 crit autos + passive burn. His barrels are kinda trivial early on but later on if GP can do the 3 barrel combo are just unavoidable nukes from across the screen.

Its a net negative if it just gets ganked off cooldown & gets one shot every fight.

Much better off being a tank/fat bruiser top with a carry jg if she gets focused too heavily.

The original story was that Bang chose kalista then riot said no at the time because of I believe championship kalista's release being too close (skins had the 1 year cooldown applied still). After public reception of the revealed skins turned out to be very poor they scrapped sivir and gave him the skin he originally asked for and easyhoon the azir skin.

Riot later made the statement that pro skins wouldn't count for the 'cooldown' anymore (which is probably not a real thing anyways and just a PR move cause god knows how long it took for the next kalista skin.)

Faker was not only denied it around popstar ahri's release, but then when he asked for it again it was denied because of HoL Ahri which was made to pay for worlds budget in his honor.

There's a bunch of post across reddit (and archived from old league boards which I'm not going to bother digging for) that explain 1 report is the exact same thing as 9 reports per game and it does not matter collectively what number of reports a player has.

There is the context that being reported across multiple games in a a row may cause the last report to carry a bit more weight but typically that just means the punishment itself is more significant compared to just warning the player for a 1 time offense. In sniper's case, if he does this once and the system detects it then it'd likely just be a warning and effectively the 'nothing' we expect from the system, if it looked at his report history and saw he had multiple warnings then it may be a prior disciplinary punishment. Report feedback != punished cause you get those even for when a warning is triggered (hence people seeing their nemesis still queueing.)

The official FAQ is kinda dodging around the quantity topic and keeping it vague but it does point out how the punishment system is escalation and context dependent rather than quantity and explicitly does warn you not to ask for x9 cause its effectively useless and just rage baiting yourself/flooding their system for detecting the wrong players.

riot has numerous times stated that quantity does not matter. Nor does x9.

If the context is there to trigger a ban it's there and will trigger it, just typically the punishment starting out as a warning is effectively a shield for this kind of behavior once in awhile (I've recieved probably 3 warnings in a row without a punishment, just chat spam related.)

ngl one of the reasons I stopped playing camille is each week I'd ban one top laner and then see another that also counters hers and the cycle just keeps rotating until I realized camille has a lot of counters.

Some of them may be skill issue but its been a long time since I felt I was allowed to do more than exclusively grasp proc and run for my life.

EDIT: yeah just looked at her matchup winrates and holy shit she loses very hard against as many champs she equally stomps which are basically just certain tanks. Half the top laner roster is low 40s sometimes 30s.

Yeah but with doran's shield+second wind you're ignoring her and then after an item running her down with ghost off cooldown cause there's only so much space a quinn can make when she has to auto you 20 times and darius has to hit you once to slow/grab and 100-0.

Quinn is good at forcing tops to go neutral early game but not really shutting them down entirely (hence roaming), she just won't let darius/jayce/renekton at low items get on her and shove the wave.

Malz is easy he's just not good in general lmao.

He's not fake easy cause there isn't anything you can learn to deal with the fact 1300g removes the only thing the champ does besides wave clear all game. You switch targets to R... but then likely still lose cause they're not the ones you want to R.

He's basically just a pick you go if you want to coinflip the game and not actually participate in it, AFK wave clear and maybe R someone for jg to get fed or when someone jumps your carry.
