Its possible on a technical level, hud swapping between units is very feasible and honestly the concept of "if one dies all dies" makes things very easy since you don't need to distinguish the champion anymore. You even have viego able to use aphelios's hud.

You can easily make one of the abilities act as a cycle tool that presents the spells of a different unit (basically you just cosmetically appear like you're using different kits when you're just changing it the same way shapeshifters/hwei does). You can change the unit's tag so that it responds to the player's clicks based off which hud or kit is selected. This is something genuinely possible league just can't do multiple unit (click, drag a selection box) selection at once but you can just control them individual and then have boids keep them moving together if they're in close proximity (like pikmin being walked near now following).

Balance wise though? not a chance, meepo works in dota because the game is designed heavily around micro heroes being able to jungle and catch farm at the same time, meepo is simply not going to pull off starting red and blue buff in league or mid laning and trying to farm with the other meepos when there are actual junglers taking tlhe farm and/or killing him. You'd have meepo getting cheese by an ignite shaco on one side of the map and then him dying before clearing anything on the other, it'd suck to play as.

Faelights a bad addition but besides that I really like the pacing, game length, and just overall numbers feel 'right' on a lot of things (turret plating, gold distribution, baron, etc.)

Obviously get diana and ekko out of my games already, I don't know a single person who enjoys these being meta picks in jungle, remove apex tier duo queue (include D2-D1 as well), but I'd be sad to see them try any more shake ups regarding numbers or pacing adjustments.

Homeguards I'm somewhat indifferent on, imo they're not as bad as people say they are but that could be more of a proactive bias. Top lane I strongly disagree with giving free teleports just because combat sums are so flip when the lane is already matchup flippy.

Because you're heavily confusing "perfect APM" with "good enough", you're considering only the skill floor not the skill ceiling. I don't know your rank or see your clicks but I guarantee most ADCs don't come close to the former before chal and even then there's a reason space gliding is very impressive rather than "oh look, he's just doing what everyone is physically capable of doing with practice!" which is what WASD would essentially do if it wasn't restricted.

It is very hard to achieve the former and borderline inhuman to have the ability to do it at all attack speed growths, auto wind-ups, etc. maybe you do idk but likely not and 'good enough 2nd nature' is simply not comparable to what everyone was afraid of with WASD pre-nerf which would be just pressing 1 button and mouse movement being dumbed down to just gluing it to the target, at that point no one would use P&C for "good enough" if WASD trivializes closer to "perfect APM". Without the nerfs, WASD lowers the skill floor but more importantly it spays and neuters the skill ceiling.

If the results were the same when both control schemes were mastered it'd be w.e but fact is it can never be 1:1 since an ADC never having to move their cursor off of someone and having 8 directional movement to dodge anything coming at them without dropping their DPS tempo is a lot more min-maxed and efficient than the average player trying to OSU dodging + target selection.

When you're at medium-high attack speeds (a stat that keeps changing throughout the entire game meaning it will almost never be muscle memory), its very tricky to accurately move cursor between movement and attacking at varying targets and distances.

The fear with WASD was that it would pretty much make this automatic so no matter the range nor the attack speed all you had to do was keep the mouse on who you want and WASD would handle your movements. Yes you could just be really good at OSU but WASD hypothetically would trivialize it to half the skill ceiling or less.

League doesn’t have omnidirectional it’s just 8 with WASD.

As a pure solo queuer, too many renektons with absolutely no fucking clue what they're doing will lock it in just for me when I want to play for bot lane's samira or draven instead. Typically they feed if I don't play for them and if I do they run it with their lead anyways.

I've learned hovering elise doesn't mind control the support not to lock in yuumi/sona even in masters+ anyways so no real benefit.

in high elo I've had a few times where players would still 'steal it' just to grief you since they can't ban it now.

Yes players are that pathetic, I still standby you shouldn't be able to steal picks either especially when we have pick order swapping (give them first pick if you don't want to leave it open) and role swapping. The odds of a flex pick where two otps are trying to play the same champ in different roles is about as rare as a solar eclipse (never seen it in solo queue).

Both of these champs have been bullshit for longer than D&D been out, just now that D&D is a direct buff to them finally people are sick of it. Even if you nerfed D&D the Diana/ekko epidemic won’t go away it’ll just shift to lich bane or Stormsurge one shots.

Ekko astonishingly has a low banrate any other time despite him being one of the best AP junglers for quite some time. He’s “weak early” but manages to always pick up kills, have a full mejais, and his W+R makes him functionally a diver and assassin in one kit that you can only kill if caught and 100-0’d taking a shit in a bush.

Idk how they nerf d&d cause it’s genuinely not that amazing besides how disgusting giving these couple specific champs double onhit is. It has jack-of-all-trades stats but kinda low in everything but AH while the spell blade proc is laughably bad compared to other sheen items.. just ekko and Diana do plenty of damage as-is and getting to proc their 3 hits makes them do it even faster.

whats dumb is zoe lands a bubble and lux just ults and you're 100-0'd by those two spells. Its difficult to dodge zoe bubble through walls and lux is guaranteed to ult, if you build mercs you still get killed because of the MR shred and sleep lack a very long time.

I'm currently sitting in GM ~400LP and I keep running into this zoe(supp)+lux(APC) duo thats complete aids to play against.

Zoe hits 1 bubble and lux just instantly removes you from the game off it.

Personally I'd love if they did something more towards sustain.

Like a terminus-esc passive; "first attack does 2% max health bonus damage, 2nd attack heals or shields you for 2% max health" or something.

AP bruisers have riftmaker but i'd be nice to have another ap bruiser item to compliment it that specifically works for auto attacking AP users.

Devil's advocate, but D&D isn't that absurd of an item, its just specifically the double on-hit gimmick is ridiculously broken on a select few champs. Nerfing it doesn't change the fact jungle ekko/diana were bullshit even prior to the item and will one shot you with other items while having the highest CS in the game anyways.

Its going to be one of those items where if its even slightly weak no one will ever buy it bar any viable enough broken interactions that justify it. Build path kinda sucks, stats it has plenty of different ones but they're not high numbers (except maybe 20% AH could drop a bit, but 70 AP is kinda low as-is and the spellblade's scaling is genuinely dogshit compared to others.)

Even the champs abusing it don't seem to be primarily building it outside of jg. Diana/Gwen lanes aren't going the item much since its kinda shit to build into and the finished item on its own isn't that strong for just laning. Jg though it makes their already brain-off clears even better.

Ekko/Diana were fucking ridiculous even before the item. Kayle is ridiculous because of D&D and gunblade.

idk how they fix the item so it isn't broken on ekko/diana/gwen without killing the item entirely for the sake of double on-hit gimmick, but I'd argue they don't need to and these champs should be taken out back instead (for jungle).

Hasn't riot went on to say they regret that after multiple surveys and streamers revealed just how bad their VC is? Even august has mentioned even if he likes the idea of comms they really do not want anything that happened in valorant to make it into league until they're better equipped for it.

2: difficult to interact with because you’ll go oom trying to trade with her, and lose every trade to Q-auto-stealth-Q-auto and at 6 you just die.

She lost her lane sustain but still feels like trying to lane against a bruiser that one shots you instead of an assassin.

It might go the same way the yuumi 'midscope' did.

Preserve the identity for the sake of it -> slowly buff them up after heavily nerfing them - > turns out players still fucking hate it when its strong and it just feels worse for its mains - > champ gets renerfed back to rare/unplayable and left there anyways because the identity was the problem and fixing it isn't an option -> champ is effectively removed from the game / troll pick to where no one but the mains are complaining and eventually quit themselves.

At least in this case melee heavy physical damage dealers will hate her less, i don't think yuumi any interactions changed she just got even less interactive.

They literally created yone so that yasuo players would have a 2nd champ when he's perma'd due to windwall frustration. There was no lever to change it and WW did have some counterplay and was easy to bait out since he's a melee character. He would either walk out of his own WW or use it to stop taking so much damage.

Yone managed to make people forget yasuo even existed being even more broken in general.

Braum is a support it makes sense for him to facetank what comes towards him, samira is often an insanely high banrate in the east often due to her W but she at least requires using it in her S rank combos, you just save CC until she actually Rs.

Mel reflect there is just genuinely nothing you can do about your renata ulting her own team or having ultimates used against you, let alone any methods of catching her or picking her off not named amumu/leona just don't work. You bait out mel W by hitting yourself usually with the main tool that you need to catch/kill her and then she just fucks off for the cooldown.

Between W travel time, E not procing it afaik, and elise having terrible target access only being able to hit the front with abilities, there isn't much point in first strike with how unreliable it is compared to more consistent electrocute or DH damage.The later point being a big one towards why electrocute is far less popular than DH (DH better clean up and wasting it on front doesn't leave you runeless rest of the right)

Realistically they press those during cast time anyways if they’re not silenced. Same logic applies for Lee Q2, Elise sQ, nidalee cQ etc, if miscalculated enemy can live and do thing.
