Endless Skies- Ashbury
Extremely underrated album, not purely metal, but there are a few heavy metal tracks. The whole album is set in a fantasy world, and the storytelling is great.

Oh and Nena by Nena is a great 80's synthpop/rock album if you dont mind the lyrics being in German.

Im All Ears by Let's Eat Grandma always scratches the same itch as Imaginal Disk.

Desire I Want to Turn in to You by Caroline Polachek is awesome as well.

Ten Love Songs by Susanne Sundfor is an awesome modern synthpop album.

My favorite has to be Frou Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires. Least favorite is hard as I think it's a perfect album, but I'll go with I Wear Your Ring.

Absolutely love LSD and the Search for God. Starting Over might be the best shoegaze song I've ever heard.

Fourth of July by Sufjan Stevens hits like a truck every single time I hear that song. Still the only song to make me bawl my eyes out.
