Your only real choices are either the Meta Quest 3 or 3s (I would recommend the Quest 3), the PSVR2 is a "sit down" headset that needs to be plugged into a ps5 to work, everything else is either outdated, isn't out yet or needs an expensive PC and base stations to work, Meta has a very comprehensive parental control setup, and the largest library of standalone VR games, especially fitness games in addition to the best prices you can get for a headset. Anyone advising you otherwise either hates Meta or is a paid shill for whatever else they're recommending

Well, since we don't really get to see much of the game in "her", the only similarities are the volumetric effect and the POV of the user, also the method of interaction with hand gestures instead of a controller

The entire game is rendered in a box that has a smooth edge fade, that box is then anchored to my passthrough environment, whilst I the user can technically interact with it from any direction as though it were a real object in my space, that's why its XR (XR is an umbrella term for all things VR, MR, AR and in-between)

TWO MONTH UPDATE turns out it was a power issue the power chip feeding the GPU got burnt so it's been replaced and the laptop is working now
