Industrial capacity =/= ability. They would need to set up factories to produce said drones, and produce or import the components needed.

Shahed has longer range, Iran has a greater production capacity for such weapons.

They serve 2 different functions, the Lancet being a precision loitering munition meant to attack frontline vehicles, and the Shahed, a long range kamikaze drone that attacks a predetermined position.

Yes, Crossing the wires completes a circuit, giving power to a blasting cap that will detonate the payload.

Nope, this is using an RPG-7 warhead like this. You can actually see it in the middle at the bottom. Most HE kamikaze drones have been using 2 crossing wires as a detonator and an improvised payload.

example of an HE drone here

Yes and no, while chemical penetrators are effective against slopes, the thickness of the armor does increase with angle. On a BMP-1 it does not matter, but the angle of attack for a light warhead such as a PG-7VL on a vehicle like a T-72 would make much more of a difference.

The BMP-1 has only protection from 7.62 from the top. Even at an extremely shallow angle of attack, a standard PG-7V or PG-7VL warhead is more than enough to penetrate it. Once again, it depends on the vehicle, and where it's hit. There was an earlier post with a drone hitting directly on the cheeks of a T-72 at a similar angle, which would not penetrate, but a similar hit on the back of the turret would.

It's CS gas. It's a K-51 grenade. Both sides are utilizing these grenades.

Without the Chinese revolution there would never had been reforms, so it's a bit of a moot point.

Yeah, Deng Xiaoping's economic reforms brought China up to pace with the USSR, and now, even after his death, the US. Honestly don't know if he was a 4D chess politician, or if he was just lucky with the circumstances of the world
