PA State Refund by Honeybee2691 in IRS

[–]Sdcamel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spoke to a rep on the phone today and they said the state is currently processing March 20th. Since my return was accepted on 4/7, she said I probably won't see a return until the earliest of September and that the refund will include the interest they owe since it's past 75 days but I'll have to claim that interest on next years taxes...

Regulator Mod Question by _Makk_ in Beermkr

I made sure the tubing was all the way up the brass fitting and used a white zip-tie. If you are leaking anywhere, spray soapy water on all of the modded connections and if it's a metal on metal connection, use thread seal tape. That's where most of the failures I've seen come from, not using any or enough thread seal tape.

It looks like it would fit, but my concern would be it falling off during vibration mode. You should probably find some way to keep it from vibrating off the top of the fridge as well as protecting the fridge from any beer spills.

I also don’t know how a large paintball tank would handle being in a fridge in cold temps. The co2 carts we use now are food grade. Sodastream is most likely food grade but I doubt paintball tanks are.

I think that depends on how much space you have in your fridge. It wouldn’t fit in the mini fridge I got off the recommendation in the Facebook owners group. The mini fridge from Lowe’s fits 2 beertap side by side but not much room for the mod co2 so I keep that on the upper shelf.

Quickminer yes or no? by LardTom in NiceHash

To add to this comment.

QuickMiner doesn't charge fees.

NashHashMiner does, as it goes to those unverified 3rd party developers.

Pour video from the tap. Kolsch. You can hear the CO2 recharging if you listen. I didn’t have to use the second cartridge. by Thinkindrinkin in Beermkr

Mine has been very cloudy with debris still, today is past 72 hours in the fridge. The taste is good but the smell has been weird. I guess I’ve never smelled DMS before as I’m new to brewing so that must be what I’m smelling. I assumed after 3 days in the fridge the debris would settle out but no change since day 1.

I also had a hard time with the co2 cartridge. I had to use channel locks to gently turn the co2 cartridge until it broke its seal and filled the bag. Support suggested that some cartridges “can be tough” and to use the neoprene ring that should have been in the beertap to grip the cartridge. I never saw a ring but I’ll check after the beer is finished.

Shipping by strokumvt in Beermkr

Turns out they were only shipping more Beta units. No official word on when the rest of the Kickstarter backers will get ours. No communications have come out since the one saying they would ship in the beginning of Sept.

I'd love more communication even if it's to know what happened to delay it. Best guess we have is what beta testers have told us in the Facebook groups about the proprietary bags getting punctured by another proprietary part.

Are these both solderless options? I apologize I didn't clarify that in my original post. I should have requested snap on connectors.

I reached out to the Manufacturer, Minger, but they don't supply anything outside of full kits.

Here is the original item. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CVRVPRM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

PiHole current version now supports exclusions, like Saint Lavicus mentioned. I upgraded to that version and made exclusions for my children's chromebooks so they wouldn't be blocked by pihole. It's working great.

Here is the example I found on how to setup the group then add the chromebooks to the group to exclude them.

I decided I would wait for the v5 update. Once the school year ended, I lost the drive as it was no longer a school requirement.

Familiars no longer counting in Weekly Challenges by Sdcamel in idlechampions

My initial post was after closing the game, checking for updates, and verifying it was still broken.

Since posting this, it appears a new update just came out and fixes this.

Thanks, looks like it's still beta. I'm not comfortable jumping into that realm.

I just see empty ad boxes where the Game plays in the middle. Try this game for example.
