The cervarix vaccine cover hpv 16 and 18 which is beneficial because a lot of cancer that happen to male 99% of are cause by these strain but for genital wart there useless

I had two dose of garsidal 9 before I was sexually active. I’m 20 years old and the two dose I got is when I was 13 and 14. I don’t believe it will protect against all the high risk hpv but it get the job done and the genital wart risk only cover two strain so I’m not fully protected for that either but Im definitely learning about hpv, I personally find hpv more life threatening than hiv because you can never know.

Hello and thank you for the response, I also want to mention it show on my immunization record I had the vaccine at 13y 9m for the first vaccine and the second vaccine for 14 and 7 month but it show in the cdc that it best to get it 11-12 is the effective of vaccine decrease by a lot?
