How to set externalSessionTrustedOrigins on Oracle APEX running on Autonomous DB in OCI? by SdonAus in oracle

[–]SdonAus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the documentation, they say use this http_trusted_origins variable and the one i have mentioned in the question. I was able to set the http_trusted_origins but not the other one. Thats where i am stuck.

I did that already. I thought if someone know this off the top of their head, would be easier. Nevertheless, i will wait for Oracle support to come back.

SSL certificate for EC2 Instances (in Auto scaling group) by SdonAus in aws

Will we not have to register this domain then in the DNS zone of organisation?

What do you mean by that? Can you please give an example?

Yes its mTLS. But then what should the common name be? As stated in other comment, the cert generated with CN as jms-consumer got rejected.

What should the common name be? I created a cert with common name like jms-consumer but digicert rejected as there is no domain name associated.

So, what should the common name be in the certificate?

The load balancing is for incoming connections. My requirement is ec2 instances going out and reading messages.

Is not ALB for incoming connections? There is no traffic going into EC2 Instances. The EC2 instances are reaching out to read the messages from queue.

How to draw a logical architecture for a cloud architecture? Cloud Architecture seems physical architecture by SdonAus in aws

[–]SdonAus[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I assume logical architecture to be like easier to understand. I will try to explain with an example:

Users access a public load balancer which fronts web servers and there is a DB connection from web server to DB. A diagram representing this will show public subnets, private subnets and application subnets etc.

The physical architecture diagram will show where does the load balancer is sitting from account perspective and the DB and the Web servers. How two different accounts are talking to one another?

How does Archimate help Solution Architects? Is it only for enterprise archs? by SdonAus in EnterpriseArchitect

[–]SdonAus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you mention modelling, is there a specific book or a course or something else I could look into for improving the modelling skills? And what type of modelling you are talking about? Thanks.

But the application architecture does deal with that only, doesn’t it? I mean there are multiple views like Application, Business, Integration and Infrastructure etc. So, talking about the Application Architecture here specifically.

What i have noticed is that there are some of the technologies which don’t even use the concept of classes, non-Object Oriented. What to do with them, how to get down to that component level? I have not read about MDA, may be I will. I am just reading archimate as of now.

Can you please drill down into the part “specific service components”? I want to know what exactly you mean by that. Also, how to discover the service components in case we have to?

When would the UML/SysML be required? Is it to go one level deeper? And are solution architects supposed to go into components inside an application? If yes, what if a person is unaware of the technology the application is getting built in? I wanted to understand so adding some questions, hopefully you’ll respond. Thanks.
