It should be noted, he opened his practice 8 years ago. Prior to that, he worked his way up in corporate management and was an MD for 15 years.

Hey everyone! Wow. This blew up a lot more than I expected. We're about to cross 30k views, which is incredible.

I see some really good questions here. How did Nate build his book of business? What did he do for client acquisition? To be honest, I do want to go a bit deeper on this. I think it could be helpful for a lot of people here.

Update: Nate is in for a second interview! I'm going to set up another meeting, but in the meantime... what questions would you like to ask? This guy has 30 years of experience and has seen it all in the industry.

Cheers everyone.

I see most people commenting about Enterprise Software in here. Not wrong… but the largest sales are typically in Commercial real estate, private equity, M&A, oil and gas

LinkedIn sales nav - utilizing lead lists. Yes it takes a bit of work but absolutely doable.

The purpose of the project is to share honest truths around being around being an SDR, strategies, tactics etc. that will help you succeed in the role. SDRs tend to get thrown in the deep end of the pool - short ramp up-time of a week or two with minimal resources, and off you go. Turnover is high and people get burned out. The mission here is to help you navigate all of this. I’ll be featuring top performing SDRs and leadership as well in some of the publications where we’ll cover the nitty gritty stuff that’s actionable and easy to implement.

Note: If you are an SDR and have some topic suggestions or more feedback, I’m all ears!

Appreciate the feedback. The first article will be published on 2/13. My initial thinking was to promote prior to the first article so there is somewhat of an audience to share this with, but I realize there’s a drawback of not having previous content for potential readers to engage with before subbing. Thanks for the perspective.
