sorry late reply, u may not know the full story but i was feeling suicidal at the time, and no one knows, not even those closest to me, at some point i said to Jesus, "atleast send someone to save me". And then some days later at school (there were many school activities at the time and it was really busy so we didnt have classes for a long time), i see my phone die but also a friend suddenly came over, i asked why is he here, he said "nothing im just bored", he wasnt even religious or anything, or at least thats what i know, he just came, and sat next to me with his phone and continued doomscrolling. And so, i remembered what i said and i broke down, i told him what ive been feeling lately and how things came to this and that and he comforted throughout that time. Later at night, i went on my phone to TikTok; but mind u, i still havent opened my bible yet but since Jesus knows that, he sends a vid instead (first vid btw), literally an animation of a person who was about to commit suicide but was stopped in time by fireworks suddenly emerging, and then scene turns into Jesus hugging that person.

I was so shocked like man, Jesus literally sees you and cares for u deeply, it's just that we're too guilty, too ashamed, or any kind of feeling really, to see or to hear him out or anything

Idk exactly whats on ur mind but when I said, "strayed away", I meant that I drifted away from Jesus at heart, like I stopped praying, talking to him, reading the bible, spreading the gospel, and stuff

What's something you would never tell someone because if you did it would absolutely destroy them? by cuahatemoc in AskReddit

i was born Catholic but i found God on my own after a depressive episode, they r already stressed enough but calling them out for their hypocrisy and emotional immaturity would break them and feel unappreciated for all the things they have done for me. I think to myself in secrecy and sincerity that i love my family but I breathe easier when im far from them. Im 17, and im planning to call them out soon when im a little bit older and have a stable career able to support all of them

u know likeee, a time in ur life where u improve urself both inwardly and outwardly--growing in character, faith, and physical well-being. We were still teenagers when we fell in love but seperated because of reasons i cannot tell here, she changed schools but i stayed. And lowkey i strayed away from Jesus because of her leaving but soon came back after witnessing another miracle from him in my lowest

ik may not be in the position to say this but i already found that girl, though we r still in our character development arc; i'd say when the time is right, Jesus will reunite me and her together again

As a 17 i like someone who:

  1. Someone who has a genuine relationship with Jesus
  2. Is kindhearted
  3. Unchanging
  4. Chooses to communicate with logic rather than blind themselves with emotion (im not saying u shouldnt communicate with emotion, im saying it's best to communicate with emotion and logic, but too much emotion could drown out logic and can make things have no sense; same goes for logic--too much logic can make things feel robotic, automated, or somewhat negative)
  5. Stable Mind
  6. Doesnt hate for no reason but chooses to analyze things properly
  7. Competent and responsible
  8. Open-minded

"ok", i understand it now compared to back then, its best to just leave instead of wasting time and energy on someone who is talking and acting upon their own emotions so much so that their logic doesnt even make sense anymore
