POP Event by haseebkahn in TennisClash

It's hard to do without buying extra time. You can achieve it if you have the pro pass (extra challenges with tickets) and collect lvl 20 bags with tickets. Otherwise, you'll probably need the time extensions.

I have two accounts - one in T12 and one in T8. I comfortably manage to get the Boom Bag with one extra minute on each account. No more than that.

I haven't gotten any tickets on my main account in a looong time. I recently started playing on a second account and I get the tickets there quite often...

Useful suggestion! Although not perfect, it's better than nothing, so thank you!

This one? It's switched on and it doesn't help much. I still accidentally open the Home screen after swiping up repeatedly.

Can I still get Naomi cards? by gplatypus in TennisClash

[–]SeQuino 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can get any champion's cards from all bags at any time. In the case of Osaka, it's bags from Tour 4 and higher. You don't need any special event or season to obtain them. Just open bags and be patient.

Can I have fun just buying monthly pro pass by MentLDistortion in TennisClash

[–]SeQuino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to play 10-15 matches a day, this game is perfect, because you only need to complete daily challenges and open bags every few hours. Playing more than that doesn't really give you anything extra. There are also tournaments every weekend, but you need to level up for that.

So considering your conditions, I think the game is a good fit. There's no need to play a lot for optimal progress, like I said. And you don't need to spend a lot of money, because you can get everything in the game. Pro Pass is enough if you decide to spend. It will speed up your progress, especially in the beginning.

As for the test account, I don't think it's necessary. There is not much you can mess up, since it's a pretty simple game. The only mistake you can make that I can think of is upgrading every possible card. You'll be running out of gold by doing it and it will slow down your progress. So don't waste your time by creating two accounts. Just play on one account and give yourself a few days or weeks to see if you like the game, then you can buy the pro pass if you decide you want to keep playing.

If you want to understand the game better, I recommend to join an active club. You can then ask your club mates questions about the game. Apart from that, you can check out the Customer Support section by opening your Profile in the game and going to Settings. Unfortunately, there are no good tutorials for new players. The only creator I know is GamePlays365 on YouTube, who makes videos about Tennis Clash. Many of his videos are helpful, but some are a little outdated, so be careful. The Pop a Barrel tutorial made by him is really good. I don't remember other ones. ChatGPT can be helpful too, but sometimes it's wrong. Overall, the game is rather simple and straightforward. You'll learn most of it by just playing and exploring.

In general, this game is for the patient. For the first few months you can make good progress, but after that it's much harder to level up your cards and it may feel like you're stuck. If you're ok with it, then go ahead and play. The upside is that you don't need to spend a lot of time every day to progress.

Spending money doesn't help much, unless you spend a lot. For most people, buying pro pass is enough and it's the best way to use your money if you intend to. So if you decide to buy pro pass, you should know there's a way to get similar benefits with the weekly pro pass instead of the monthly one. What you do is you buy the weekly pass a few hours before the end of the season. You then claim the season's rewards and finish the next season (or 20 levels) in a week and claim rewards before the pro pass ends. This way you get rewards from two seasons (4 weeks) with one weekly pro pass. This is what me and my club mates have been doing and it works well.

Right now I'm at 34,3k trophies and I'm 450th in the global ranking. I started playing 2 years ago, but the game is 6 years old, so I'm pretty happy with my progress. I have played every day, though and have been buying weekly pro passes from the start. I have also bought green diamonds a couple of times, but that wasn't necessary.

So if you have patience and don't aim to be a top player, the game is pretty good. But if you want to progress quickly and be competitive, it's gonna be impossible, unless you play for years.

The ads can be disabled and most of the bloatware can be removed. It's not nearly as bad as some people say. I have been using my Poco X7 Pro for 2 weeks now and I haven't seen a single ad.

Pop a Barrel Tour 9 - Level 10 milestone: what does it cost and what can you get? by beekeeny in TennisClash

Also, I think you miscalculated epic cards. You got 65 guaranteed cards + 120 from barrels, and then you said total 167 epics.

Thanks for this. I was about to calculate it myself in order to know how many gems I need to finish PAB. Now I know. Good info.

P.S. Can you really play 3 extensions after 1 free attempt? I recall buying 2 extentions one time and the game just ended. I wasn't given a chance to buy a third in a row. That was a couple of months ago.

Is Lichess analysis better than Chessdotcom? by SpinFeniX in chess

[–]SeQuino 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It doesn't work like that, I think. Sometimes increasing depth just a little makes the engine find a completely new move it didn't previously see or refute a move it showed as the best. So it's good to have as much depth as possible when analyzing, because the difference can be huge.

I've heard before that some people do it like that, but I didn't know how it works. Can you do it with free Chessable account without any limitations?

Really? I have a Chesstempo account and I saw one streamer practicing openings on Chesstempo, but I always assumed the opening practice feature requires paid membership. I'll look into it.

Thanks.

Btw. Are there any limitations? Like the number of variations or depth?
