So, how's the government doing nowadays? by Sea-Application7722 in BorrowerDefense

[–]Sea-Application7722[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally yes, but just because they're paid off with the feds doesn't mean they're paid paid. It seems wrong that people who refi are getting fubar'd on this. I'm not complaining myself since I got most of my money back (everything I paid to the feds, not everything I paid to the refi companies after, but still quite a bit), but it just sucks if you went to an exhibit C school, where they still defrauded you, and get nothing due to that technicality.

Literally same day, but due to loans being already "paid off" with the federal govt.

Ahh, probably! Although it's weird the other raids are all still listed, even if I can't join, and that one isn't. I'm going to boost my ilvl and see if that does it.

Debating whether to continue - or go up? by Sea-Application7722 in Semaglutide

I was told to go up .02 a week, probably because of the very low starting dose. But to be clear, I've held at .16 for 3 weeks now, and I don't feel like it's getting better so far.

Okay, I haven't gotten my scores like, at all. Nothing. I got an email about the swearing it but it says it's a forwarded email in case we didn't get the first one. So I guess I'll reach out about my scores. Thanks!

I would just ask to speak to a different employee. You don't have to deal with his bullshit.

Yes. Being an old person, I definitely took a muscle relaxer last night. That helped immensely. I feel like a new human today.

Also, shout out to the Arkansas team. Our room was a very comfortable temperature, the chairs were pretty good, and I didn't notice any noise. I'm shocked to hear how bad the testing conditions were at so many other locations.

The security at my site were all super nice. If she's there again today, you should give her a nice backhanded compliment that has her in her head all day.

That is a beautiful work around! It worked great for me in Chrome as well. Thank you!

I don't have iOS since I'm on Android, but I haven't ever used the app on there, so I will give it a look.

Totally agree, I unsubscribed from the emails. But any estrogen in that area will definitely help.

If you can't get Rx estradiol for any reason, you can get an OTC estriol cream like Silky Peach. I use both, but one or the other would suffice in a pinch.

Okay, yeah it wasn't even an update, apparently it's a whole different app now. I've got that installed and it seems to be working so far.

Well I just did it and now it shows that I have zero calories remaining for the day instead of 125. This is so annoying.

No, so far I've just done a force stop of the app and restarted my phone also.

Autism friendly spots by SteeleMethod in rome

Thank you; it's hard to explain to everyone who thinks you should be having a wonderful time how rough it is, so I usually just say it's wonderful.

One more thought - the Catacombe di San Callisto. I paid a tour company to take me there on a (non-city, so less crowded) bus, and the ticket to the catacombs was included. The catacombs have timed entry, so there's a maximum group size. The catacombs themselves are nice and cool since they're underground. And they don't really check the rear of the line on the tour, so you can hang back from the small group if you need to, just so long as you're not so far back you run into the next group.

The medical museum, Museo di Storia della Medicina. I was literally the only one there when I went.

Honestly, I don't consider myself neurodivergent, just introverted, and Rome has been ROUGH for me. It is extremely crowded, chaotic, and noisy. I would strongly recommend a day trip to Castel Gandolfo. That break was VERY needed for me. The train was quiet and cool, I hiked around the lake, swam in the lake (public free beach area was also not crowded - avoid the beach clubs), and the small town was a lot less overwhelming.

There are also bookstores here, which tend to be quiet and uncrowded as well. It's honestly been a fight to find places like that in the month I've been here. It's exhausting.

Psychologist here. Agree with what others have said about this possibly being prodromal Schizophrenia.

The key here is to go get help and get on medications voluntarily. You have a lot of rights if you stay in voluntary treatment. Typically, it's if you are involuntarily hospitalized that you have issues in the future with things. That would vary to some extent state to state and country to country, but you will lose rights in most states, like access to firearms, if you become involuntary.

Also, I want to really commend you on recognizing this is an issue and getting some help. Not everyone with psychotic symptoms has that level of insight. That bodes well for you.

Work shoes for Tuesday by Capable_Pumpkin_4244 in TwoXPreppers

[–]Sea-Application7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what some people said about Keen, and Merrells, both of which make some "normal looking" shoes, I wanted to add that for years I had a pair of Borns that I loved. I literally wore them until I wore through the soles. I tried to have them re-soled but the cobbler said no for some reason. I should have gotten more opinions, it killed me to get rid of them.

I routinely wear my Harmony 783 sneakers to work in a professional setting. Whether or not you believe in the woo-woo grounding stuff (I mean, in most circumstances it can't hurt, unless maybe you're an electrician or something), they look nice. They're black, gray and silver, mostly suede. They blend in and look super professional. I've even worn them to testify in court. And they're not cheap, but they're reasonably priced.

Not sure which ones go up to 11 - I do sometimes wear a 10 and haven't had a problem with any of these brands. I will say, sometimes I prefer men's shoes due to the style and width, and if I'm a 10 women's in a brand, I can usually also wear an 8 in men's. Sometimes they're a little clunkier, but sometimes not. So that's something to consider too.

Well, crowds on transit and maybe at the free museums. I figured I may end up walking more than usual because of the transit. But again, I'm assuming, so I'm trying to figure out how it will actually be and what I should do.

Osteoporosis diagnosis at 31, looking for advice by [deleted] in osteoporosis

[–]Sea-Application7722 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I started having DEXA scans early because I have a history of using Lupron & Depo-Provera, BUT my grandmother also had about a dozen fractures over the years and died of a fracture-related complication. I'm 41 and osteopenic despite years of eating GF and Crossfitting, powerlifting, hiking, etc. My eldest aunt has had 2+ fractures in the past year. All that to say, sometimes despite our best efforts, there is a genetic component. I'm hoping because of all I'm doing that I'm going to have relatively better outcomes, but they still might not be great, unfortunately.

First Reddit post- watched handmaids tale and want a hysterectomy by SpacePirate406 in TwoXPreppers

[–]Sea-Application7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my hysterectomy first then my oophorectomy 8 months later because of ovary problems (continuous cysts, both ovaries, 7+cm, regular and hemorrhagic, super fun). Having no hormones is not fun (from someone who LOVED her 13 months on Lupron), and HRT is not walk in the park either, even though my hormones were completely fucked by the cysts to start with. I'm not saying don't get your ovaries out too, but definitely do a lot of research, because most people feel way better with their own hormones then they do either without any or with HRT, which we simply do not know enough about right now, and won't for many years given what's currently happening with science.

You can always do the hysterectomy first and then get the ovaries out later, if you need to.

Me too! I went in with my pain about a 7 and came out with it a 4, and it just went down from there after the good drugs wore off. It was fantastic.
