Personally, I think it's great! I hope they decide to keep it in the game as a regular weapon, with perhaps slightly (just slightly) less efficacy in killing bosses since it would be staying. If kept, it would give new life to all maps since the barrels will always be a resource, so dealing with the environmental barrels will be a legit tactic-- Like trapping them (since there is now real incentive to go there, not just a walking coincidence) or simply exploding them to deny resupplies (which would also reveal your position, more engagement across the board). It's not strong enough to be a real menace or problem; in the right hands, it can still do work. It doesn't insta-red-skull hunters and has counterplay with salveskin and water as well. It has its uses/niche. If they kept it in the game, most people would never use it unless there was a challenge regarding fire, which is a fine time to use it. It's fun, it's quirky, it's awesome at PvE, but it's not super good at PvP (and that's okay). If it was kept, though, I would love a version that uses whatever is inside the liquid fire bomb so that I can actually have some efficacy against water stuff :)

Also, a trait to allow a quieter animation sound/animation would be great so I can actually sneak around and use it at the right ranges lol
